@@MrBuddy.....X Once the tentacles spawn again the phase repeat itself all the time. Just focus to survive by constantly debuffing Jenova's MATK and buff yourself with MDEF, then slowly dps jenova. I killed 1 tentacle to make the fight even easier but there is no need to kill it. Just make sure to leave at least 1 tentacle alive or Jenova will cast Vengeance.

How to prevent the attack from activating vengeance?
You have to cancel the poison with your LB and also kill both adds at the same time
