Graetful to have found you.
Thank you God, thank you Mr Peale. As a Muslim, I was enlightened by the light spread by Vincent Peale. His book and teachings are very beautiful. We all have one God, I wish love and brotherhood to everyone.❤
That’s truly wonderful to hear. Thank you-and may you be truly blessed.
We attended his church growing up! His positive influence has never left me. Thank God.
Thank you for sharing that. Sadly, and annoyingly, there are so many so-called Christians who attack Dr Peale, now no longer able to defend himself, and his message. Those who truly listened to the man, and who read his many books (and not just one or two of them), know that he was truly a man of God who preached the Word of God. I heard him speak in Sydney, Australia, where I live, twice. I was so impressed. It would have been wonderful to have attended his church when he was the senior minister there. I have attended services at Marble Collegiate when I was in New York several years ago but Dr Peale had passed on by then. I have been to Quaker Hill Cemetery, Pawling, New York and paid my respects to Dr Peale.
Never realised how powerful Dr Peale’s teachings were until recently.
Timeless and fundamental.
He was certainly a very dynamic preacher and speaker. I heard him preach twice in Australia where I live. He was very old by then but still incredible. I have derived much benefit from his books and talks over the decades. All the very best to you--and thanks for sharing.
Dr. Peale was my introduction to spiritual awakening. For that, I’ll always be grateful.
I’ve loved his books and talks for years and years. Thanks for sharing-and all the very best!
Mine too ❤
I know Dr Norman Vincent Peale because Steve Harvey recommended his book The Power of Positive Thinking. I have read this book twice and has shifted my mindset and thinking. Thank you Dr Peale
And thank you for sharing that with us. God bless!

Cool but Steve Harvey is the number one cringe monkey
Wikipedia rips this guy a new one. Sighting people in the psychiatric field that said his book power of positive thinking is damaging and dangerous. I read one criticism and it sounds very unfounded and assumptive. Wik isn't putting the other side of the argument. I wonder why? 🤔
Growing up in the 70s, Mom would have Norman Vincent Peale on the radio Sunday nights. I think it was WOR.... listening to him back in those days probably built my foundation for a positive thinker. And. love his humor in his sermons.
I'm glad to hear that. Dr Peale's books and talks have been foundational in my spiritual journey as well. God bless you.
Dr Peale's books are all classics, this lecture is inspirational, totally understand it. Thanks for the upload.
You're very welcome! Dr Peale has meant much to me as well. I heard him speak in Sydney, Australia on two separate occasions.
What a Blessing to hear the Word of God can be so simple from hearing these sermons.
God's Blessings on making these available for us to hear and strength our faith🙏🙌!
Thanks for listening-and glad you liked it!
I found his book Power of positive thinking. I enjoyed reading it.
It doesn't matter what's your religious affirmation, his philosophy appeals to all.
Well, I’ve always thought that as well. Some evangelical Christians dismiss his theology but they fail to understand that he was deliberately not using their theological language, so as to reach a much wider readership.
Just a wonderful man and terrific communicator
Although we miss him dearly we must carry his words
and sermons on forever…
Well said! Thank you.
5:55 Keep things right in your head. Keep your thoughts good and full of faith

9:50 In Tune With the Infinite book
10:26 Care for how you live in your thought world, if you wish to remain young (or as young) and carry youthful joy into your older ages
10:48 Whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy he will be. If ye know these things, happy are you
11:15 Think right!
Have this mind in you that was in Jesus (no hate, no negativity, no failure)
18:00 Harmony, happiness, health
18:29 Being happy is being in tune
18:48 Jesus: that you might know my joy and happiness
19:20 If you're not happy, it could be because you have something sour in your mind
20:29 Get good, honest, decent, clean thoughts
24:33 Ask God to forgive you, forgive yourself, and sin no more!
24:59 These things have I spoken unto you that your joy might be full
So true! Thank you-and God bless!

Great to hear that! Dr Peale would be pleased.
Always be positive minded
Good advice but very hard to do all the time.
Love the voice ❤❤ old is gold
He was old by this time. He was still preaching and giving talks in his early 1990s. The voice was weak by then but his mind was sharp. I have lots of his sermons and talks on this UA-cam channel. Check out the Norman Vincent Peale playlist on this channel. Keep well.
This is an amazing explanation of how to succeed at anything. Thank you
Glad it was helpful, Mark. And thank you.

Some really great affirmations thee, Joyce. Tops! Keep well!
Read his book som35 yrs ago. Powerful book! But as a minister of the Gospel, he should preach the Gospel especially in the church.
He was a minister of the Gospel who preached the Gospel. I firmly believe that. He was a conservative evangelical who believed it was his mission from God not to use the traditional language and thoughtforms of evangelical Christianity.
@@drianej The Gospel is Jesus Christ as the we read it in Rom 1: 1-3. So we have to preach the Gospel for every creation. Our main topic should be the Gospel or about Jesus.
I believe Jesus said preach the good news of the kingdom of God not Jesus Christ Mathew 10:7,Mark 1:14.Mindset has to change Romans 12:2,Philippians 4:8
