First off - do you wish that CACG graded banknotes? I can't imagine how much you would freak out! The coins are beautiful and the die polish on the 1903-P really does give it a unique look like you pointed out. But you know I don't care about coins (yawn)!! The $2 1928-D LTN is almost - very well could get at least an AU - good pick up. 7777 I have no words but great story on stories on Sellers not taking the offer. The 1934 #1 SC Star love the bold blue and very nice pick up. My third favorite is the Capital Holder of the 1886 Morgan and 1986 ASL. I know weird. Those old Capital holders just scream classic and super cool to display. And that's against the $1 1917 LTN and $1 Hawaii - those are both stunners. A close second is the $100 Birds of Canada - nothing like a good "CANADIAN Goose" note! Coming in second is the $1 1917 Dominion of Canada. You're correct to pair that with the US $1 1917. But what a cool note - don't really know why but very nice despite being ruined by being a super repeater - and FYI never noticed it until you did!!! And then #1 is that $10 1922 Gold Cert! Stunner, Stunner, Stunner!!! Shows what the BEP was capable of. Thanks Dean for sharing - great purchases so far for 2024!
@@PolarCurrency first off NO! 😂 CACG would be a terrible paper money grader. They would also suck at world coins too. They are a group of numismatists who have specialized in US coins for decades. Are they always right? No, but they sure as 💩 put stickers on beautiful coins 😆 I agree with all of your comments on my pickups especially with the Capital holder. Too much of my collection is locked away and I only get to enjoy it when making videos or worst when I’m selling it off 😱 The 1917 D of C is beautiful and yes SUPER REPEATER!!! 😂 The 1917 legal tender is just as loved by me, but I keep looking at my $100 Canada Goose 🪿 😆 Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦🎆 by the way. I certainly did save the best for last and I still can’t believe I won it at auction the $10 gold certificate. Just a beauty. Thank you Dan for being a great friend and for your continued support.
@@albertocastillo8901 thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. The gold certificate is absolutely amazing and I am so happy to win it at auction. Thanks for watching and sharing 😎🤙🏼
Nice variety of additions to your collections. Too many beauties in both coins and currency to pick a favorite I love Morgan's but there is something about $2 red seals or any of the blue seals that catch my eye. Love the story on the 28G with you winning it for less than your original offer, pay attention sellers, greed can be a killer. So close, That quad 7 is just a few numbers off of being fancy. Oh that 34 star is pretty cool and so is that 22 $10 Gold certificate Thanks for all the eye candy there Dean.
@@GDSavingThePast you are very welcome! The red and blue seals are really a favorite of mine too. They seem to pop off the paper. I was surprised how cheap I got the 57 silver certificate repeater for considering the quality. The star note and gold certificate are certainly favorites of mine. Thanks again for checking in and especially commenting.
@@markjohnson9445 thank you sir. I imagine you have quite the collection. I have been enjoying getting more into the US currency for sure and I have picked up some nice US and Canadian obsoletes which opens a whole new world of collecting. More to come for sure. Thank you for watching and sharing.
@@silversurfer1986 thank you my friend! It’s my favorite too. I hope the dealer has more coming. I will say I couldn’t believe I won that 1922 gold certificate. Thanks again for checking in 😎🤙🏼
This has got to be my favorite channel, every time I see a Morgan I get all excited. I'm trying to complete my Dansco albums, so I normally buy raw coins, but sometimes I end up with slabbed coins. Do you think I'm nuts for cracking a $500 coin out just to fit it in the album? I'd really appreciate your take on this. Thanks
@@Space4LSB thank you for your compliment and it depends on the slab of the $500.00 coin. If it’s in a “collectible” holder I would not, but if it’s in a “common” or unpopular holder crack it out. What is a collectible holder? ANA soap box holder, PCGS doily, PCGS rattler, PCGS old green holder, NGC fatty and really anything with a CAC sticker on it. Also, if you are planning on keeping the coin for a very long time don’t worry about what holder it’s in and crack away. It’s your property so do with it as you will. Let me know what you have. Thank you for watching and especially commenting 😎🤙🏼
@@massabesicgoldandsilver Thanks for the response. Right now, I have 39 original morgans in the albums plus all of the new releases. the slabs are 1895-S IGC-AG3 and 1889-CC USGC vg8. Thanks again and I do appreciate your time and am always looking forward to Monday!

Cool collection.. interesting that you are collecting paper & historical pieces.. I think it’s all cool but I like stacking for weight & if I can get legit coins for cheap then I’ll buy
