Nick isn't entirely wrong. Lamar struggles in the playoffs. Sort of like Peyton except Peyton was exceptional as a passer. Lamar is an average passer. Based off of last year I'd rank Lamar 3rd after Mahomes and Allen, but it's not an insult if Lamar isn't in someone's top 5.

Did you even see a single game that the Ravens played last year? They were 14-3 with the best rushing game in the league. Which team had the number 1 passing game in the league and also won the Superbowl? It's interesting that people who say that the Ravens need "balance" don't also see the need for "balance" for the other teams who don't even sniff the playoffs. The Ravens blew out the majority of the NFL last year and only lost to the Chiefs by one touchdown. I think that they, the Ravens, can win with the formula that they have: excellent defense, excellent special teams and Lamar Jackson!

My best case scenario is a Ravens receiver reaches 1,000 - 1,200 yards. And a second receiver reaches at least 800 yards. If this happens I know without a doubt Ravens will get to the Super Bowl. Because it tells me Lamar doesn't have to be Superman. And he actually has decent weapons to throw to in the playoffs. I love Zay. But our receiver room scares NO ONE.

They need to be a threat on the outside. That way it opens up the field for Derrick Henry and Lamar. With an elite passing attack the defenders can't stack the box. If the WR's aren't a threat. Our run game is just going to get stuffed. And also you can't win from behind if your passing attack isn't lethal. That's why Ravens lost last year. Subpar O-line and nobody to throw to.
