Im building a b18c1. And the calculator shows. 13.0. Compression Ratio. Not sure if will be good to drive at the street. I got ctr pistons Gsr rods. Acl bearing Head mill ported. All internals are supertech B tuners 2. Ho8. Cams. Oem head gascket Skunk 2 intake. 70mm throttle body. Turbo precision injectors.
If you upgrade rods get light forged I rods if you're not pushing boost. But stock rods can last a long time if you're not pushing boost and running strait E85 getting knock.
Why is there a coolant pipe there? Wouldn't you have the heater looped or plugged at the thermostat? Kind of a cool idea to have an in-car overflow though.

Nice. Love to know the specs. What cams u running and did u go fully forged on rods and pistons or use cast pistons??
J New type r cams , stock everything just put high compression pistons 13:1
Unless you plan on a lot of boost you don't need rods

Looks like it was the heater core that burst. Had the same exact thing happen in an old accord i had. Luckily there was no passenger when it happened.

Hey i was planning to go ycp high compression pistons,but can i also use a 272 degree camshaft
Duration isn’t the only issue when going with a dome piston it’s lift that causes issue to if the valve opens too far, not just staying open too long.
Sweet build man. I live here in miami and ive been looking to make something similar in an EG hatch for fairly cheap. What would u reccomend?
To keep it cheap and just to get started an LS swap or B20 will do

Hes revving it to 8.6k with stock everything. Thats why I ask.
It would just be better to upgrade valvetrain parts to be able to rev higher DUHH
