I got my LT1 a couple months ago. Still under 400 miles (bad weather). This thing is tight to drive and brings the HP when you need it. Adding an air kit. Stock exaust is great. Jumped from Ford to Chevy for the first time making this purchase.

Hey man great video Iv owned a gen 5 3.6 with some bolt ons tuned lot of fun. Traded in on a 18 RS in 2018 Amazing deal $20,000 with 6000 miles on car. Anyway running 13.6 in the 1/4 at 105 mph. Love my car have turbos for it hopefully have time to install one day idk time is precious we will see. Great video very well spoken with great information. Thanks Josh
Just picked up my LT1 yesterday, quite a bit different than my 2008 V6 mustang lol. I also got the splitter and side rockers, makes such a big difference. Also got the upgraded seats, no slipping around with them while hauling ass, it’s perfect.

LT1 is like back in the day like ‘93 5.0 vs 5.0 GT I like the stealth looking of the regular 5.0 so yeah I would pick that LT1 and customize the way I 👍 like thank you so much for sharing dude!!
It’s funny you mentioned that it really does. Also keep in mind it only comes with an oil cooler but not the trans or diff cooler but depending on what you do with the car that may be minimal
Good looking ride! Nice thing about the RS package is the uninformed think its a v6 which just adds to the sleeper potential. I can option out a LT1 w/ exactly what I want for approx $39.5K. 2SS is nice, but that is over $6K(or $7K w/ my sunroof) of unwanted extra things that i'd be stuck with and since most of us have to finance, that means paying interest over 5-6 years for something I never wanted only compounding the prob.

Great video , very informative. I think the LT1 is a good car for your first v8 , but I feel like you’ll wanna upgrade. The 1LE driving experience is second to none In my opinion. I’ve had my SS1LE for about 8 months I’m ready for the ZL1/1LE now . 🇺🇸💪
i got a 2SS and naw i’m koo i hate the spoiler and i love the lighting at night in the 2ss plus the all day running back camera is 🔥 in the 2ss wit heated and cool seats 😅 idk bro

Too bad chevy doesn't offer PDR with other trims, as of now it requires the 1LE package and that's keeping me at an SS. Also if you want the rearview mirror sharkfin camera, that's only available in 2SS. I'm still doing builds trying to figure this out, but hey at least I know I want rapid blue.

The e differential is game changing. Completely different driving experience. Like a completely different car. Best example is in a turn. In a normal Camaro You just add gas gently before the apex of a turn. Your back end will come out right. In a ss1le and up you get the electronic. You do the same thing and your car will track through the turn.
You are absolutely right and also to append to what you said please get a track alignment. I just got one and it’s phonemenal and changes the car a lot and it doesn’t cause more tire wear Vs the regular setup. My regular setup was pretty bad from the factory my alignment guy told me

I would put the don’t buy this on a zl1 and get the basic 1ss 1le manual. 1le offers so much for the money to pass. You put all that aftermarket, you are spending around $15,000 or more. The wheels alone on the 1le cost pretty penny.
Oh for the love of bacon the smartest move is to sell the SS get an LT one. Why? Because all you have to do is upgrade the tires and wheels on the LT 1 and it’s faster because it’s 200 pounds lighter!
@@BLUPRINT1LE yeah but they bundle the recaro seats with the 1LE package AND 1LE is 7k. I don’t like the squeeze factor with the Recaros side bolsters. So in my build I can get the magnetic ride as a stand alone option for a smoother ride and end up paying 41-42k for a 1ss instead of 48k or more for a 1LE build. It all depends what’s important to you
