If they did, where is the difficulty option scrubs have requested so much? They don't care if all 2 million players beat the game, they dont even care if they cant get past Margit, or ever even see Malenia. Fromsoft games have a design philosophy very similar to retro games from back in the day, its practically focused all around the challenge and fun of the single player, and i'd say consistency to the lore of the game. But they don't even care if you get the story or understand the lore either. I disagree with what you said about people needing to watch videos to understand the story. Even the people making the videos do not totally understand the full story, and this is a confirmed intention of Miyazaki. There is just enough in game to get the gist of what you are doing, who some of the people you are fighting even are, and what your goal as the player is. But I certainly agree the PVP is not enjoyable, I dont play PvP much, I did recently to do Varre's questline, and like, its annoying chasing some guy down in the open world who probably has like 2 buddies who are going to jump me. I was thinking tho on the topic of other gametypes, why not like a lord defense game? Pretty much theres 2 sides, and where they have to fight is a legacy dungeon like Storm Veil Castle, or Leyndell (dungeons with lots of side routes and stuff, and not like a primary pathway), and the goal is to get through the area and kill the boss at the end with your group. But, theres another smaller team, working with the PVE enemies and the lord of the area. I think that'd be dope
pvp isnt the main focus while it is focused on after beating the game it is still janky and not as cared about the game is played and made for pve if not the pvp would be far more functional and less retarded, the fact there isnt a difficulty slider isnt showing that there not being any mode selection is apart of the game, the story is cared about not necessarily by you or anyone else but it is there and pretty deep lore its wouldnt be as such if they didnt care if you cared and as i said before pvp isnt enjoyable because it isnt as focused on, saying the game wasnt made for pve is an insane take

Also Queen Marcia fuck a dragon and created messmer that's some "Deep Lore" also also PVP is the endgame doest matter is its cared apon or not I still play it and many others do too just because you say it pve focus is a non argument, because the game has online features, improving these online features is what the discussion, particularly it's PVP is about so stop saying It's a pve game because you aren't adding anything important to the conversation. Pvp players are the main players who blow theses games up in the first place remember that.
