"aaaand spOOp" has to be the best horns up command I've ever heard
4:23 trumpets in the background doing what he sings haha
And the contra in front of the camera cracks a smirk lol
Echo 😂
Two of them were in my high school marching band. It’s a little trippy
i’m starting tuba next year. i play baritone and trombone. any tips for the new mouthpiece?? i would appreciate it!
BilboBeSwaggins when you try getting high notes blow your air downwards into the mouthpiece
BilboBeSwaggins apply what you know to your current mouthpieces. Brass instruments can be interchangeable with the techniques applied to playing.
Conn Helleberg 120 standard
Raghul Sachi PT50 is pretty common too
@@brunkosaurusrex yeah, but i think its a beginning playet so helleburg would be easier
Jupiters are the best marching tubas. Great tone, but have more of an edge that I like.
Yamahas are infinitely better for tone
@@kylewhite6014 and about 10 pounds lighter too
Sure they have mediocre tone but the amount of problems I had with them during the two seasons I marched them was not countable
i agree on the tone part. i think they sound darker. but, the weights tho...
Incredible instruction
POV I’m practicing this in beginning band 😮
ah yes. my fellow contra players
Bass drummer here. It's intimidating to say the least to see like 12 massive bells all pointed at you Jesus Christ
You get used to it. They all become targets of your ire. Especially the weak ones and the ones who keep bobbling their sound.
Yooooooo Collin and TJ
Anybody know when this experience camp was held?
