Watching Chilled play Codenames made me love him. He shifts from being the best player to being a loose canon in a matter of seconds and I'm here for it.
It's like his brain is a Venn Diagram but instead of being two-dimensional, it is instead three or even four-dimensional. He sees vague connections that a two-dimensional Venn Diagram would have a hard time linking.
When Ze only had Lemonade, Step, and Table left, I was singing the "The duck walked up to the lemonade stand, and he said to the man, runing the stand, hey! dun, dun, dun. Got any grapes?" song for like that whole round xD
Ze: "Oil... But the dinosaurs are millions of years old! When you think 'ancient' you think 'a few thousand years!'" Also Ze: "Glaciers have been around forever, I still think it's 'Glacier...'" Me: "Ze? Do the words "Cognitive Dissonance" mean anything to you?"
Also there are still glaciers (for now). Usually when you say ancient [object/place/people], it often means they are no longer around (ancient Greece, ancient Rome ect) and although dinos are technically still around (birds), you usually think of the extinct dinosaurs which aren't around.
Shelby has slowly stopped being the voice of reason and has become as chaotic as Chilled. Poor Ze, man. XD 44:30 It's okay, Ze, we already know your lacking musical knowledge after that musicians round you almost went for. XD
Me, too. I saw that there and then he put "Sphinx" as a code word. Like... Does he not know that Moses had sent a plague of LOCUSTS in Egypt to free his people (Hebrews or Jews, I forget which one)?...
@@EnglishMajor05 well I don't think you need to be religious to know the story. I'm a buddhist but I still know the story. Im pretty sure the media covered that topic before and it was a great movie too
Is it possible to set up a separate DISCORD for the Spymasters? I think it would be a really interesting to hear how manic they would get as their partners decide on the wrong words.
That would be cool but part of the fun/stress is from hearing their teammates’ reasoning, so a separate spymaster discord channel wouldn’t work for that.
@@tokatstorm9270 The first thing we would consider a higher-learning institution was the Platonic Academy (sometimes referred to as the University of Athens), which operated from 387 BC to 529AD. The founder was allegedly Ptolemy II Philadelphus (309-246 BC).
lil bit oh hockey lore: Hockey pucks were originally solid rubber balls. A Ref got tired of the ball flying all over the place and destroying things so he took out his pocket knife, whittled off the top and bottom of the ball and then dropped the middle part for the players to knock around. Players liked the new amount of control they had over the puck and less injuries resulted. The new shape of the puck was adopted.
Don't forget the round kind of disc is spelled with a D, and disk with a K refers to hard disks. Discus is an old word for a disc, and diskette for disk.
I just had a mini mid-life crisis at Ze's "Coffee? Eugh, that's icky, that's for adults!" I'm having a coffee right now. And I was like "I don't feel like I'm an adult, I'm still reasonably young...oh...I'm 29." T_T

Because one day, I'll leave you, a phantom, to lead you in the summer, to JOIN THE GREEN PARADE
as a minnesota, the american neighbor to canada, i am ashamed of chilled when he called a hockey puck as a disk. like i dont play, watch, or do anything with ice hockey as i hate the cold and even i know its not a disk
I thought 'glass' for green, because glass never used to be clear, it was green or brown until they figured out how to add lead and make it crystal. The word Glas referred to the stormy blue-green of the water at Glasgow.
to be fair to the "Easter => onion" moment... in my country, since we don't usually use chocolate eggs for celebrating Easter, one of ways to colour eggs is by dropping them into boiling water with red onion skin in it
It's not a true solid either though. So it is kind of just a very, extremely slow moving liquid. Ever noticed that on really old panes of glass you can actually see that it is thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom when it wasn't originally made that way?

I was thinking that. "SPHINX, GIANT CAT SARAHA, EASY."
Okay, sphinx? It's a big cat in the Sahara. Cat. Sahara. LOCUST. got it

That's every game with chilled tho
*perfect wires*
he is pure chaos and it's brilliant
Chilled thinks too weirdly for this game. His brain is the dolphin tank full of idea balls from South Park.
Handcrafted by Nanners.
Chilled reminds me of that one character from South Park that randomly ramble on in front of chef
Whenever Chilled starts guessing I rip my hair off. Scientists would have a field trip trying to figure out how his brain functions.
It's like his brain is a Venn Diagram but instead of being two-dimensional, it is instead three or even four-dimensional. He sees vague connections that a two-dimensional Venn Diagram would have a hard time linking.
I thought it was a manatee tank.. but yeah very accurate
Chilled is always the third imposter in these games for the other team.
That story Shubble draws out of each round of guessing, is amazing. and having her tie it up with Scuba Steve
We know that Chilled wouldn't make a Scuba Steve reference because Jerry Bruckheimer didn't direct Big Daddy,.
Jerry Bruckheimer is Chilled's gay celebrity crush
Lol I remember when Shubble refused to curse while playing Phasmophobia, and now look at her! She's being corrupted
Never trust Chilled
@@evm7368 can't trust chilled, never trust nanners
Is there a timestamp of her cursing?
Same with cheesy and others. The whole gang bring them in, corrupt them, then kill them or be killed by their padawans.
