This fighting still feels strange and unrealistic, but I feel, like you are improving your tactics and driving skills and shooting in each battle. I wonder if someday this battles will become as realistic as in real wargames like world of tanks. And we could see full blown minecraft warfare.

make an tank ambush
or antitank squad with field cannon/artillery fighting against tank
or something like tank going from A to B, and infantry with cannons and traps trying to make tank (or column of tanks) not pass

Is it possible to create a server with clockworks or does this mod have a lot of problems? Someone is trying to create a political server with clockworks, so I want to know whether it makes sense for us to develop tanks or not (In that sense, it is possible that the mod is too problematic and will be removed from the server modpack)

IRL the IS-7 would have been quite quick with a 60km/h top speed, although I do agree that the acceleration is a bit ridiculous

i think you mean acceleration, because the IS-7 can go pretty fast. its just it takes a while. and i dont think theres currently any way to make the acceleration slower.
