Selena Gomez and the Scene have so many amazing songs together, I hope they get back together soon, it’s still some of my favorite work from Selena as a singer
The second I saw this I said “it better be a year without rain” I’m so happy you recognized it as what should have been her biggest song it was just so beautiful and emotional
All of Selena’s songs are underrated. I would jam out to Selena while at work making deliveries. That’s how my customers know I’m outside when they hear Selena Gomez blaring out my truck lmao!
idk how a year without rain did in the US and the rest of the world, but the spanish version is a smash hit in latin america, it was everywhere and we all know it
I wouldn't say it flopped, it was certified 2xplatinum in the US. Also, I used to love it back in the days when it first was released. However, I will say Love you like a love song is a timeless classic, and AYWR has a bit of a dated production (?). That's just my opinion.
Actually this song was is extremely popular and was a Hit lol, it was just during a time where streams didn’t count towards chart positions so it didn’t appear to be a hit, but it definitely was a hit lol
i'm surprised when he said "a year without rain" is a flop. That song is the only song i know from selena (i know the other songs but i didnt know selena is the singer)
OH MY GOD. I LITERALLY HAD THIS ON MY MIND. I WAS THINKING IT CAN BE A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN OR MAYBE WHO SAYS? AND OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO GOOD WITH THIS I REALLY LOVE YOUR CONTENT. Yes in all caps cause i mean i live your yt shorts this much.
Hey could you please create weekly 10 songs lists that one can listen to and list if old and new songs your choices are soooo gooooood...that this will allow us to remember the great songs we forget😭 and we listen to your suggestions , i am always like okay thats the song i will listen to for the entire week
I dont know, I feel like a year without Rain was pretty big. I feel like "I wont Apologize" and "Ghost Of You" were overlooked and one of those two should've been their biggest hit
SG&TS had the best album material. Almost all songs are amazing bangers. I really want Disney to release more copies of their vinyl versions. If you only have listen the singles, go and stream the full albums, I assure you will like them.
I usually can't guess what song you're talking about but this time I did guess it before you did said anything I Love A Year without Rain that song was a really good song!
I feel people overlook the texture of her voice coming from an artist who does a lot of soft vocals. Her texture of her voice back in Disney is nonexistent now probably due to her health issues but it was one distinct thing about her as an artist that I enjoyed. Different from even Miley Cyrus but very distinct in my opinion. It’s why she was so good with alternative style songs while keeping a soft balance to it.
OMG- okay so I'm 16 years old and when I was about 6-7 I was scrolling across UA-cam on a computer and came across this song!!! I somehow fell in love with it but was too young to know how to work technology so I never EVER got to hear it again or know the name :(( almost 10 years later I've still remembered the tune and not known the song and now I just discovered it 😭😭😭😭 TYYYYY❤️❤️❤️ And honestly- if this song was a big enough hit I would've been able to find it sooner😭
Honestly the year without rain album is underrated. It had so many songs that are really good (in my opinion) but no one listens to /: Sick of you and ghost of you are some of my favorites
I always loved A Year Without Rain too. I think the musical talent of SG & The Scene was super under appreciated because of their professional relationship with Disney. I feel like many of their great songs were simply overlooked because people didn't expect genuinely good Pop singles to come from the Disney Channel & dismissed them. I also hate that SG & The Scene not getting the appreciation that they deserved led to people believing that Selena wasn't a talented singer. She changed her style after this & that was when she really got huge as a singer. So, despite the fact that she had already more than proven herself as a great singer when she was with The Scene, many people had never really heard their songs & assumed her newer style of whisper singing was all she was capable of, when that wasn't the case - it was just her stylistic preference.
“Songs that should have flopped but were hits” category would be interesting
money by lisa 😭
Those TikTok hits.

@@thefuzzies1084 what?

“I Won’t Apologize” was a banger and you can’t convince me otherwise.

For me their best song is Naturally!!! Jam out to it to this day!!!
I totally agree with you my dude
A year without rain is a freaking masterpiece
End it was the only song to ever feature on wizards of Waverly place
Her song called magic was also there I think it was actually the first song to feature in wizards of Waverly Place
This is my favorite Selena Gomez song, I always listen to it.
I knew you were going to choose that song it's literally one of my faves❤️
The second I saw this I said “it better be a year without rain” I’m so happy you recognized it as what should have been her biggest song it was just so beautiful and emotional
All of Selena’s songs are underrated. I would jam out to Selena while at work making deliveries. That’s how my customers know I’m outside when they hear Selena Gomez blaring out my truck lmao!
Baby, and the Spanish version of the song is even more emotional✨✨

Naturally is still my fave
i'm surprised when he said "a year without rain" is a flop. That song is the only song i know from selena (i know the other songs but i didnt know selena is the singer)
I adore this song… in English and Spanish
i still hear it in repeat so let's cry together
Thats my favorite song of her
100% agree this song had a choke hold on me , really showed off her vocals and capability.
Selena rare album has such iconic songs but are so underrated
ADHD ers: the song is a year with out rain and I completely agree this song was always on my playlist in middle and honestly high school too
it was not a flop, and also naturally, and almost all her disney albums were the best
Totally one of my favourite songs, im also in love with the spanish version! 😍
The spanish version of that song was actually pretty popular on Latinoamerica
Can you do Lana Del Rey?
@@shw7598 I just want to see what it would be. I love Lana Del Rey’s music
@@itsame9780
Hi Adam , I would please like to know what happened to Tinashe. Why is she soooo underrated now , what caused her career to derail😟😔😞😥😨😭🤷♂️
I still go back and play that song for sure and I believe it should have been the biggest hit. I was in middle school when this song came out!
OH MY GOD. I LITERALLY HAD THIS ON MY MIND. I WAS THINKING IT CAN BE A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN OR MAYBE WHO SAYS? AND OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO GOOD WITH THIS I REALLY LOVE YOUR CONTENT.

Yes! Yes! Yes! A without rain should’ve been the biggest hit of Selena Gomez and The Scene.
Fact: Selena also sings the song in Spanish titled Un Año Sin Lluvia
I thought it was un año sin ver llover
I dont know, I feel like a year without Rain was pretty big. I feel like "I wont Apologize" and "Ghost Of You" were overlooked and one of those two should've been their biggest hit
for me, it's "who says" or "round and round"
I would listen to a ‘year without rain’ while riding my bike. I remember that song would help me get through some tough times.
Year without rain is still on repeat since I was 10 years old 😭💗💗👑💅
I absolutely adored a year without rain. I didn't realize other ppl didn't like it 😅
I looooovvveedd “A year without rain”. I was low key waiting for you to play it.

I love it so much more than Love you like a love song!
I’m stunned how I only know Who Says, that song makes me wanna time travel back to 2011
"A year without rain" she also recorded in Spanish.
Can you do one direction next
Yep
It's important
SG&TS had the best album material. Almost all songs are amazing bangers. I really want Disney to release more copies of their vinyl versions. If you only have listen the singles, go and stream the full albums, I assure you will like them.

I loved a year without rain since I can remember as a child and still is! my fav out of all her songs combined

I love "Who says?" Because it's got a very strong message
One of my all time favorites still. ❤️
