6 years later homie, you're kind of right. There was a "demand" for what kind of sound people wanted after it came up, when before it was more of people making "what sounded cool to them" and that really shows. You don't often get a producer that gets to go fully off the rails of their label and just push what they really want to make. Either that or you gotta watch their side channel or releases on other labels. Ugh. Fire still comes out time to time though, with a more bold design that's been refined over the years. It's rare, but when you find it you feel it in your fucking bones (literally :D)
