I love how you shared your cleaning techniques for gold and sterling. My husband has been in the medical field for almost 40 years and usually 3x a year he will soak his white gold/diamond wedding ring in peroxide to remove any "biologicals" and dead skin from under the stones because he is constantly wearing/removing it as he takes care of his patients throughout the day. It does a wonderful job on getting into the tiniest places/crevices. But keep in mind it DOES remove ALL biologicals and it will look extremely gross if you soak it overnight, like we do, lol!! Just rinse it with luke warm water. I would recommend that whoever purchases the genuine gold/diamond (even semiprecious) rings/earrings definitely soak them in peroxide. They will look brand new. Also, keep in mind, because of the way these pieces were shipped, it would also be a good idea to take them to a local jewelers to give them a good once over to make sure all the prongs/stones are securely set! Beautiful pieces and what a wonderful "gift"!!! ❤
Lovely jewellery! When you hold a magnet to a spring ring clasp, it will always test as magnetic, even if the clasp is sterling. That's because there is a metal spring inside the clasp.
You can clean with the baking soda and boiling water plus white vinegar. You can find the ratio online. The vinegar creates more foaming action . I am an artisan jeweler who works with opals. You have to be very careful with opals and this works beautifully
Some really lovely estate pieces. I especially love the antique art nouveau 10k gold lavalier necklace at 26:00. I really love the dainty coordinated diamond/gold wedding set 16:37. They definitely go together, but don’t you think it’s odd that the engagement ring was 10k but the wedding band was 14k. Thanks for sharing.
The lavalier was spectacular, and I felt so honored to steward it, if only for a little while, as it transitioned on to a new owner. I did think it odd that the rings were two different carats. Thanks so much for watching! 😊💖
Thank you very much for sharing this video loved it. Prices are very good but just still let you know when you’re testing the spring Plas that is exactly what it is. There is a metal spring inside the clasp so I would check to make sure there’s silver or gold, thank you very much keep making your wonderful videos
Hi!! I noticed when I was in Canada, that the price conversion works in the U.S. favor. And so much in the videos doesn't sell through You Tube, so I'll end up posting it to ebay or another auction place to get a truer price. Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching my channel! 😊💖
Hi Janice, thank you so much for watching my channel! Not sure what you're interested in, alot of the costume pieces from this video have sold. However, the gold pieces I just put in an auction that closes this Tuesday evening 1/9, if you'd like to take a peek! ctbids.com/estate-sale/26039
the first set, the needle point, are from Austria, they (souvenir) made many things have a very small black and gold perfume botlle also with petit point. nr 32 is a pinky ring
Thank you! I pulled out a really interesting needle point brooch that I show in the second video (coming soon). Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching my channel! 😊💖
Hi, new to your channel and so confused. Someone sent all this to you free of charge? You'll sell and 25% goes to charity and the rest is yours or do you share with the sender? Patricia must have been a lovely woman as she had such lovely jewelry.
Hi, can you let me know which pieces you'd like a measurement on? If you email me the item numbers and I'll let you know if I still have them. Thanks! AliBorealisChannel@gmail.com
Hi! Monet isn't a brand that you'll really see fakes on. Faked costume jewelry is usually on higher selling pieces, like Gucci, Christian Dior, Tiffany, and crown Trifari. So, I'd say your Monet bracelet is probably real! Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching my channel! 😊💞

In my opinion, most of the jewelry was under priced, I also do estate sales, but where I am from Canada, prices may vary???
