I feel shippy is by far one of the most ingenious leaders in the game he has so many tools to do crazy plays that really make people think and keep your opponent on their toes
Weird combo, if you use ship and pav in 2v2 late game you can use pace ability to see an area to drop a tactical gateway behind an enemy base and bring in both armies, including scarabs
Seems more reliable to just send 2 grunt squads and cloak them then destroy sentinels. And cap point. At least it’s not a constant micro to waste your early time

My favorite strat with him is to do massive push when you have displacement and send them to the other side of the map and just get their base for free

I started this game about a week ago and was struggling with colony and yap yap, didn t want to play decimus anymore and was looking for a S tier leader but dont have the nightmare awakens leaders and saw you have a shipmaster advanced giude I won my Last 5 games (2 times against a noob ^^) The guys i played against werent that aggessive so i took almost all mini bases and only built some rangers und sometimes hunters and quickly skip tech 2, straight to tech 3 and overwhelm then with wraiths rangers locust and Jump Brutes and some hunters I have also learned how powerful extraction is, im in Love with it haha Currently in Gold 2 but i probably moving up soon :)
Good job and welcome to the game :) its hells fun. Skip locust and JPB for just Wraiths and get scorch mortsr upgrade+ reaver and engineers and you're golden
@@S1rL1am okay thanks for the tip :) Yeah forgot to include the reavers, engeneers i only use with the spirit drop in the mid game, is it enough or rather also build an apex? Regarding scorch mortar, it seems not that useful for me... in HW every upgrade also scaled up stats, here it doesnt, or it maybe just doesn‘t show it in the Description? And when do you usally get scorch Mortar? I mean which wraith number
@@TheReaperXBL Scorch is the first upgrade you buy on T3 with 3/4 wraiths it does alot of damage to ground. On T2 you want 2 early raid camps and then you go into a foundry on the expo. Aim to push when spirit support is available and later go into a Apex aswell. Cyclying the engineer bubbles is very important as it negates 40% damage.

Why not use ghosts at t1? You get far better map control, can deny expos, can kill leaders, and you can get banished raid twice to allow ghosts to capture nodes which is kinda broken in a 1v1 setting. All these grunts would just give veterancy to the opponents leader
Cloaked grunts can hold into T2, are cheaper and very strong. T2 is where you want to be and glassing beam on 3rd point plus extract just holds every push. While your opponent just wasted all their resources T1 you are now in T2 ready to win the game. Ghosts are still very good but are a much slower build up. Ghosts are pretty much necessary on maps like Mirage against a strong leader.
@@S1rL1am i never understood why people talk so good about ghosts when cloaked grunts are far superior for reasons like being way cheaper and way faster to build and to fore the enemy into building cloak detection early and wasting resources. I tried both ghosts army with shield upgrade and tried grunts cloaked. Not even a doubt about whats superior most of the time, cloaked grunts. You can deny early rushes if you cloak your grunts

It depends on the map, if you do this on the map shown in the video you gonna shoot yourself in the foot and just trade a base

It works but not really needed, if you can get it to Vet 3 its worth. But it doesn't really scale into Tech 2
