Now, that is a great looking kit, with lots of options... and you did it perfect justice! Excellent work there, really well done! Unfortunately for me, it is too large for my space or I'd save up and get one for myself.. but alas, unless I win the lottery and can afford a bigger house, I will have to pass.. But yes, a beauty! :)
Hi davebevad, here are the colours I used for the build: Revell Aqua Colours R76 Light Grey (main Hull and Tower), R331 Purple Red (Lower Hull/ Keel), R90 Silver (Drive Shaft, although R91 Steel may be better), R92 Brass (Screws), and R08 Matt Black for the waterline. I hope this helps you out.
Hi John, it's been awhile since u built the kit. But if memory serves the elevators are in a fixed position but with the option of setting them at different levels. I could be remembering incorrectly but I recall that there are runners on the side walls which could be made to life the platforms. I'll have to go back and look at the build again, if I can find the time. There's a chance I may just be rembering that might be a good idea for u future build. Sorry I can't be any more help than that at the moment. Thanks for watching and I'll try and look into it more.
@@ReckshawScaleModels I just received my carrier dwight eisenhower, and once you glue the tracks you can actually slide elevators up and down you can glue it in a fixed position, the reason I asked cause this is the one I wanted, it comes with everything you could want in a carrier, Thanks again.
@@ReckshawScaleModels i do not have any expierence, i just looked at this video and it looks very interesting, and I want to start my modeling kit career here
