I chased after this song for over 40 years. I first heard it when I was 10 years old. I had no idea the song title or recording group. I recently had good fortune locating two other songs from my callow youth that I didn't know anything about them. I figured it to be a "British Invasion" song from 1965. Herman's Hermits were big then, so I took a chance and listened to all their songs I didn't already know. Five seconds of hearing this song, I knew I had come home.
