Taming The Warden Using Boats

This Exploit Makes The Warden Ignore You In Minecraft
I discovered the warden becomes passive toward you if you're sitting in a boat...

I think this happens because when you are in a boat, the boat is the one making sound and not you. And since the Boat is not a living-entity the Warden doesn't attack the boat or you.

But still why doesn't he smell you. When I first summoned the warden I was out of view and completely and didn't even move but he still found me on top of structure and blasted me after sniffing

​@@R.O.T.C._SEEM Warden detects all entities in 49x51x49 box around it (24 blocks away laterally and vertically from any point of its hitbox) and if nothing distracts it, will slowly home on one of said entities, with player being prioritized
It can't get angry based on said sensing alone but if it hears no noises it periodically sniffs and can both detect and get angry at entities in 6-block radius laterally and 20 blocks (!) vertically
Meanwhile sonic boom has 15 block range laterally and 20 blocks vertically
So Warden is basically coded to be a bane of players like you who climb heights to evade it
It's much better to build walls over the ground since sniffing is very limited laterally or if you can do so silently dig 2-block-high tunnels at least 7 blocks deep
Alternatively, find a really tall structure - central portal statue in the city is 20 blocks tall, just enough to make you out of sniffing or sonic boom reach, just make sure it cannot climb a nearby elevated structure, they do that to have you in blasting range
