They're not hard at all. I mean, compared to all the other punk/alt rock bands they are. But that's not saying much at all.
Ray Toro does write some great riffs with nice bluesy solos. They were refreshing when they first hit the scene.
The only hard part is the fast part at 2:59
0:43 - 1:14 frank actually plays the power chords and ray plays the octave lines. Other than that, PERFECT

great job. I always love seeing bands with 2 guitarists and how their parts break down in a song. Ray is so damn good and I absolutely love Frank. Probably my fav member. There's not many songs I consider "perfect" but this is certainly one. Everything everyone does fits together perfectly.

Just a bend, nothing special. Rest of the sound is probably some tone shenanigans, but that's getting into hardware like amps, and pickups
Don't worry too much about replicating his tone to a T, 9 times out of 10, you won't be able to imitate others' sound perfectly. Just gotta work with what you've got, maybe you'll find your own sound, who knows
its a bend with vibrato so like shaking your finger almost, if you look at his finger you'll see it

I’m tab you only play the strings that are written down with numbers, some people do play all the strings but mute the ones that aren’t being played
did you learn this by ear or from tabs online? if you learned by ear did you have access to an isolated guitar track?
i learned by ear. and I think there is a guitar track on youtube. and I used "riffstation" to isolate the left and right channels

I just want to know if i understand right. In Frank's parts, there are numbers on two strings which are not next to them so there is "number-line-number" for example
12-10 . Do i mute the string betweeen these? Like the one which has line on it, do i mute it or just play it normally like it would have 0 on it

I hope someone can help me with this problem I’ve had for months please I beg. So basically when I mute the notes it doesn’t sound good it sounds like ultra high ear piercing deafening noises and no matter how light or hard i mute the notes or what settings i change on my amp it still sounds horrible no matter on what string i mute, or what fret it just has this high pitched annoying sounds pf me plucking the strings. Actually the first 2 frets don’t really have this problem that much only everything from the third fret and below and I don’t if it’s just cause i’m so bad I don’t even know or just that my equipment is bad which I think may be a possibility. The equipment I have is just a boss 50 katana mk II paired with a cheap small >$80-100 guitar and some random cable, and typing this out loud it might sound obvious that it is my cheap guitar which it might but I don’t know because I can play a lot of other things and it honestly sounds pretty good/decent but when It comes to muting… man does it sound bad. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, IS IT JUST MY GUITAR OR ME, or should I just go to my guitar shop and ask them personally to help me but idk if they would, kinda embarrassing lol.
Are you talking about when he’s palm muting the power chords? If so, your hand needs to be right at the bridge
