A video with me going around the San Diego Comic Con 2018 - SDCC 2018 and giving a tour of the convention.
In my tour video of The San Diego Comic Con International 2018 I show the halls, The Convention floor / Dealers Room, Exhibit Hall , The Autograph room, Video Game Area, Panels, Events outside the Convention center and more.
Some of the things I talk about and feature in my tour video are :

@@coolduder So then I am confused by something. How exactly would one go about getting into one of the smaller panels? Is it like Hall H where you need a Wristband or what? I'm just confused by that. I'm hoping one day into the future (maybe after school) to go to at least 1 or 2 Comic Cons to try it out. & if you are able to get into one of those smaller panels, is it like Hall H where you can just stay in there all day? Just curious.

I hope someday I can go to Comic Con day in person. It's something that everyone should experience at least once in their life.
Don’t you wish you had Thanos’ gauntlet, snap those fingers, and BOOM - Less people at SDCC. lol
People are crazy...all the money to get in and a hotel then line after line, does not seem like much fun to me! Then you need a ticket to get in line for a booth to give your money to...a blast. Outside seemed like it would be more fun than inside. Only coverage I need to see each year is yours! Great again! Thank you!
Well, you have to realize, nerds will do anything for something Nerdy. Trust me. If you've never heard of it, there's this thing called Star Wars Celebration. The last one was 2017. There's going to be another one this April in Chicago. At 2017, people were allowed to sleepover in the Convention Center to get into a big Panel like the 40 years of Star Wars Panel & The Last Jedi panel where they showed the teaser trailer. It's mostly for the experience & probably because the cast are a few feet in front of you.
In short, nerds are crazy. I'd go as far as to say Nerds are another kind of species.
Great job with the comicon tour. You're doing a great service to fans that couldn't get in this year. There were thousands of us that couldn't get tickets/badges.

It was always my dream to go to Comic Con as a kid. But after watching your video, I realize that Comic Con is not exactly what I imagined. I was hoping it was a place to look for old comic book issues to fill in holes in my collection. Comic Con looks like it only has a small section for old comics. They really need to change the name to Movie/TV/Video Game/Toy Con. I must say that your UA-cam video was very informative and you saved me from wasting my time and money to going to Comic Con. I really don't need to spend thousands of dollars for airfare, hotel, and tickets to get autographs, listen to panels, or stand in line for days to see a movie preview a few hours before its put on UA-cam. No thanks. But great job on the video. It was very eye opening.

We have some conventions in England which are much smaller in scale but still enjoyable.

That Ace Ventura figure is so awesome, but I'd definitely buy the Buddy the Elf figure. He was holding the bag of spaghetti he made for lunch in the movie lol

coolduder, you should take us to different conventions, and then different site seeing spots. currently, I'm subscribed for your comic con tours, and that only happens once a year! thank you.

My first convention was back in '96. Boy have things changed. Prices, people, the talent, etc. I'm glad I was there way back when things were easy going and more intimate. I was able to befriend many actors/actresses and fellow fans as well. Try that today? No thanks. Good video nonetheless Shawn. More power to you for keeping this tradition up!

Fun tour video. Really dug seeing the upcoming figures, already got dibs on that "Ajax" from "The Warriors". Even though I have yet to see any of "The Purge" movies, that was really cool that they made a store exclusively for Comic-Con this year. Also that Zombie from the "Resident Evil 2" remake area didn't look too happy you recording him. LOL

not bad but 2 complaints. 1. you didnt get any hot cosplay chicks, 2. waaay too much of your face, in the shot, would have preferred, a completely non-talking version, just showing, things, and saying hello to people, maybe a sign, saying "say hello to the camera"
Very detailed video I really enjoyed it. I didnt get to go because I live to far away but this is the next best thing.

What are your tips for going to SDCC first time I plan on going next summer with my family. How do I get tickets? How many panels Can I do while I’m there? Are there celebrity autograph signing? What are the chances of seeing/meeting a celebrity? Thanks :)

Facts
yeah, but luckily there are conventions for everyone: comiccon is just the center of them all so understandably packed. There are plenty of smaller conventions for those who just want to chill around.
Looks soooo stressful, there are way too many people...but I'm sure it is lots of fun.

Does the pass cost extra, or do you have to get a different one if you want to get anything signed by cast members/meet them?? At 17:10 you showed Lucifer signing; so stuff like that does that cost extra?
Also, how much does each funko pop cost?
