Well done, dude. I've always liked YOUR Comic Con Tour videos the best, because they always feel like a veteran giving a newbie a THOROUGH ground-level introduction to the vastness of SDCC - complete with tips and tricks! Other videos lack focus (sometimes literally), or spend too much time on niche interests, but yours is the most comprehensive. I look forward to it every year. Thanks again for your efforts!
Very cool to see Comic-Con back in the full and everyone is packed in like sardines this year. Your convention videos you've done over the years are the best and through.
I attended SDCC for 7 years in a row (2011 through 2017), but have NOT been able to get a badge since then (sigh). THANKS SO MUCH for making me feel like I've been able to attend SDCC 2022!
Hey 👋 there. Try going as a volunteer. After this year’s Con send an email to Sue Lord & tell her you would like to be a volunteer for next year. You work at the time of day you choose for three hours then the rest of the day is yours. You could also offer a seminar for next year’s Con. If you’re selected you can get in that way as well. Do you write or draw? Get something published & you can apply for a Pro badge. If you get that it’s good for three years. Good luck.
Always love wrapping up my Comic Con week by watching your walk through video of it. Let's me relive it one last time and then it's back to real life. Keep it up man!
This is amazing thank you! I know it's 10 months later but I might go to this year's San Diego Comic-Con do you know if they do a concert that night or a rave like they do it other ones? I'm from Illinois and they do raves here.. 🤔
As someone who worked in the trade show industry in the 1990’s (Chicago region) I found your video particularly interesting and well thought out. One of the worst problems that new visors can have at these giant shows is being overwhelmed by the sheer size and number of people these. Even not having seen a map of the convention site, I was able to keep track of where you were and we’re going to/through which is not easily done. One technical comment. In future videos, especially ones with very bright overhead lighting, you should pause periodically to wash/clean your camera lens. Because dust particles on the lens can impact not only the view but the autofocus of shots. This is a really minor point. The history you provided was interesting. It’s a little sad to wonder about who wasn’t there because they didn’t make it through Covid. Thanks for a great video.
They probably got ride of the badge check in when you go upstairs to hide the numbers of the amount of people that are in that area so they do not get in trouble with over crowding
When I was station at Marimar I use to go every comic con. There is so much to do. I remember taking a few Marines with me and they called it need fest but I know they enjoyed it.
At timestamp 31:33 at the star wars booth was Kristin Beiver. She's the host of youtubes star wars this week. And thank you for these comic con vids!!!! All the best with your up coming movie!!!!
Cool Comic Con San Diego 2022 Tour summary, thanks Shawn! I was there in 2005 as a presenter of a short film, but seeing all the cool stuff in the main floor was the coolest part of it. Met a few favorite actors too.
OCTOBER 2022.....NYC COMIC CON..... CAN'T WAIT😁😁!! (We actually were fortunate enough to have had one in 2021 too, felt completely safe, and had a great time!!)
Outstandingly awesome convention tour! I love this kind of video because there's nothing like that over here. And this is the closest to being there for us that can't go. Thanks for taking us along your adventures. Cool video Shawn!👉😃👈
39:23 OMG! CHAPOLIN (the guy in red costume and a hammer). This is HUGE in Latin America, even though the character was created in the 70s, we still love him. I’m shocked!
Sooo good to see all of them ...I have Hbomax/ Paramount+ wit Showtime Bundle /Disney+/HULU/Shudder, BUT now changed it to AMC + Shudder in it & whole lot more & Netflix of course for yearsss ..most of them pay annually & all ADS FREE version, F ads & LOVE all of them, HELL YA, looks like was a fun days.👍👌 Quit Buying & sold all of my blurays & DVDS years ago no more f*n wasting my money & collecting dust on racks year after year & worth the shyt now, 90s & 2000s is over , is all about streaming baby & Lovin it ✌
As soon as you mentioned theme park vloggers and turned the camera around I was sure you were talking about Ordinary Adventures, do you guys know each other?
Did you happen to see if Well Go USA had a booth or something there? I know a few years ago they started their own streaming service (Hi-Yah!) and started actually producing movies instead of just distributing them, so idk if they'd have a thing at a thing like this
That was a great walk through. Very thorough. Felt like I was there. Too bad you couldn't have talked to the Ordinary Adventures folks behind you at the end.
They should do a Comic Con West Coast and Comic Con East coast as large as it is getting alot of people that cant go because they dont have enought tickets for every one it would give them a chance. Plus you see quite alot of Normies not many Cosplay
Are you Attendee badge? i'm trying figure out next year on 2023 i had to get attendee badge because it was my first i want to get inside on convention center

Outstanding. So cool of you to take the time to make this and provide a first person POV for those of us who cant attend. GREAT work

Too bad people aren’t standing up to the useless mask rule though.
Not sarnides tho but poplulated
Thank you Shawn for sharing your experience at SDCC. A viewer from Singapore. Most appreciated 😊

I first went to SDCC back in 2012. I had fun but wow, so many people.
I’m from Brazil and we have Comic Con here, but I want to go to SDCC one day. Thank you for showing us everything.

How did this year's comic con compare to previous years?
Sooo good to see all of them ...I have Hbomax/ Paramount+ wit Showtime Bundle /Disney+/HULU/Shudder, BUT now changed it to AMC + Shudder in it & whole lot more & Netflix of course for yearsss ..most of them pay annually & all ADS FREE version, F ads & LOVE all of them, HELL YA, looks like was a fun days.👍👌

The artist ally is cool I believe that side was designed to be a Vikings ship.😎
That was a great walk through. Very thorough. Felt like I was there. Too bad you couldn't have talked to the Ordinary Adventures folks behind you at the end.
How long does this last? 3 or 4 days?
