Oh I thank the dear Lord for UA-cam where I can still hear George sing in his baritone and Glen sing again. I had the unique pleasure of hearing them in person many times before the Lord called them to sing in the heavenly choir

@@knowmusicman157 Fist bump! Rozelle, especially in his younger days was awesome. Definitely in the top 10 all time tenors. I put SG tenors into two styles: classic and modern. Top 5 classic style tenors: Johnny Parrack, Mack Taunton, Rosie Rozelle, Denver Crumpler, Dallas Rogers (recently with Dixie Echoes and Inspirations). Modern: Terry Franklin, Danny Fundeburke, Chris Allman, Wes Hampton, Chris Collins (Kingsmen in early 90s)

well, that's debatable, and other things. If you want to hear a real bass singer, YT search A FEW GOOD MEN MUSIC MINISTRY SOUTH AFRICA...I could listen to them all day, favorite is I could Sing About Heaven... also search THE BRETHREN QUARTET (Zambia) let me know what you think.

HeartH'S-Tones Well I found a new group to love and I love the tone of the bass singer, so rich and so smooth. I was kind of hoping to hear some low notes but he did hit some fairly low notes. I love that group but I think I like the old gospel quartets like JD Sumner and the stamps and the cathedrals plus that statesmen with Big Chief better. I do like that quartet though!

Señor Pevan than who? Deeper than JD Sumner???? Just for educational purposes , JD’s lowest note was a G0 whilst Ken’s lowest note is only a C1 but both are vocal fry so I guess you can compare who is a better bass singer based on tone and smoothness on going to the low notes but I’d personally prefer JD Sumner over anyone and George Younce then Big Chief Wetherington as well as Bill Gaither who doesn’t go very low because he is shy but listen to Low down the chariot and he goes pretty low for him on that song or at least from what I’ve heard.
