- WELL AFTER WAITING 17 WEEKS MY .25 FAC DAYSTATE DELTA WOLF IN BRONZE CERAKOTE FINALLY ARRIVED, AFTER SPENDING A BIT OF TIME FITTING THE PRECISION RIFLE SYSTEMS ACCESSORIES ( CHEEK RISER, BUTT PAD AND ARCA RAIL) I TOOK IT OUT FOR A BIT OF RANGE WORK AND TO GIVE A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE RIFLES FUNCTIONS AND TO SHOW THE ACCURACY AT BOTH 65 YARDS AND 100 YARDS RESPECTIVELY .
I HAVE DECIDED I WILL HAVE TO DO A FEW VIDEOS ON THIS MUCH HYPED AND SOMEWHAT MALIGNED RIFLE AS THERE IS ALOT TO COVER , SO I WILL BE LEAVING SLUGS,TUNING,SETTING REG PRESSURE FOR ANOTHER VIDEO.
Out standing shipmate. Press on. USS Kitty Hawk CV-63 Jan 1980 to July 1983.
Thanks for the video!
Question: How did you install the Butt Pad...?, nobody has made this video...
Regards,
J.C.
Thanks for watching , its been several months since i decided to send back my deltawolf due to various faults, but if i remember correctly PRS supply a adapter that you fit onto new butt pad and then slide into place on the deltawolf .

Great video again Paul. Your saving me a lot of experimentation time. What does the rubber on the extender rail do please?
Do you mean the small rubber mound near the picatinny rail on the extender? I have no idea !
@@PaulHamM3 yes that’s the one. I only ask as I have the same rail for fitting a sling (rather than the bipod you have) and couldn’t see what it did. I’ll contact PRS and see what they say. Cheers. Ian.
@@PaulHamM3 it’s the one near the trigger Paul.
Hi Paul, I dropped a line to PRS and Gavin just phoned me (excellent quick service). I think you and I were at crossed purposes. The ‘rubber’ I was referring to Gavin states is actually metal and is to help protect the gun when resting or leaning on a wall etc when hunting. The small actual rubber piece you mentioned is as a bit of protection if you drop the gun.
@@Ian-oq9up yes sorry about that ! You ment the barricade stop near the trigger ! Ha ha , gavyns a good bloke , really really helpful
Great video ! 🙂 Well done, Paul 🙂👍
Thanks soren
Hello the ARCA RAIL is this attached to the bi pod iv been looking for these accessories plus the butt pad adjuster if you wood be so kind sending me all the links thanks
www.pr-s.co.uk/ check out all the accessories on this site. , yes the bipod is attatched to the arca rail by way of a picatinny rail at the front
@@PaulHamM3 ok now I have that just been on the daystate site now I understand where that rail sits however can you help me with the bi pod i like the look of this one, if i could have the site please, I see the bi pod sitting on the delta wolf at the daystate site. I’m slowly coming round to this gun I was asked if I wanted one last year, at my ART club wee do the testing, i sad no to manny problem s. Have you had any battery problems. I’m waiting on my 2 limited red wolf Heritage coming .177 .22
@@Professor-Jack yeah its a accu-tac LR 10 G2 bipod with quick detatch picatinny clamp , you could also use a accutac BR4 G2 bipod with quick detatch clamp ( its just a bit shorter). I will say though that i have had a host of problems with the Delta wolf ,software issues and mechanical so i have decided to ask for a refund and purchase a FX impact M3 , i cant say that EVERY Daystate Delta wolf has problems but mine has had quite a few
@@PaulHamM3 if you only new. Wee tested it but we’re not given enough time on it the HP barrels - ART accuracy research team thats my club, yep I thought so wee had the first 3 randomly picked and all 3 had problems, wee go to daystate up to 3 times a month the cost of the delta is crazy and yet you have to spend to at least shoot it wee tested a load of barrels HP wee got 2 that hits above 40 foot pound only gun shutting down. Etc. Hear is a tip for you what ever daystate you own if you want proper accuracy always charge your battery up after about 200 shots Thanks for the bi pod name
@@PaulHamM3 FX impact M3 now your talking. Went to the accu-tac I think they have gone over board most of them look the same USA site nice any way you could buy 2 for the price of a delta wolf now you see why I gave it a very wide birth You need to get on to the slugs these are what I’m getting next. www.airgunsofarizona.com/bullets/daystate-howler-slugs/
Are you shooting under a big ass wind turbines. I saw the shadow of the blades.
Yep your correct
Nice
My wife would love the air bottle!!! Lol 😂
She into air bottles ? ??!
Yes 👍🏻 bigger the better 😂
Any issues mate seeing a lot of problems
Plenty lee , im in the process of getting a refund and then im going to see about a M3 impact in .25.
I had this rifle two weeks and it started shooting 600fps on all factory settings, then it wouldnt load properly so i sent it back to get fixed ,then after having it for two weeks again it messed up AGAIN! , the rifle WILL NOT group slugs very well at all in .25 ( i cant comment on other calibres) when i asked daystate for help, they told me to go back to my dealer as they will know how to tune it ( lol!) .
I have had Redwolf in .25 FAC for nearly two years and have had little issues, it shoots most slugs and is accurate as hell ,but this delta wolf is another kettle of fish ,i will be getting my money back and getting a M3
@@PaulHamM3 I’m waiting on my m3 but local rfd has a delta .25 in but all I’m reading is bad stuff so think I may decline ! My impact mk2 is a laser beam with all projectiles and you won’t go wrong with m3 and a lot less cost . I nearly got a safari as a change . Join my Facebook if you get impact mate , Lee Watts fx impact airgun tuning .
Cheers for the info mate . Honest is what people need
Yeah i would steer clear of that one for a while , daystate need to sort out all these problems with the delta wolf, what bugs me is when FX release a rifle a million and one youtubers are ready to show shooters what they are spending there money on, but with the delta wolf we have had ZERO info on tuning for slugs to start with. You wouldnt of gone wrong with a safari mate ,the ART barrel is so accurate and very accomadating for a good range of slugs and pellets , Daystate got it right with that rifle! I will check out your channel mate
Good video 👍
Try it with h@n slugs mate,, my redwolf fac loves them 25g,,, you have same set up as mine in different chassis and extras 👍
Hi kevin , i will be giving the H&N,s a go at some point , i have tried a few slugs that my .25 FAC Redwolf likes and at the same velocitys but the delta dont like them , i am heading out tomorrow with some different slugs and i am going to try as a few different tunes on the delta wolf , and see what works
Nice airgun.any way how much that kind of airgun.
The bronze one is £2600-£2800 depending where u shop
I will buy it some day
Can you kill a bear with it ?
I wouldnt think so ! Lol , maybe best stick to a centrefire !
Try 850
The gun is history ,got a refund and got a M3
Too fast probably
