I know like 4 years too late, but at 4:21 that character is from the dragon quest anime- Abel No Yuusha. Toriyama of course, did the character designs for it.
Hahah maybe doing the x2 speed was a little too quick. I just figured if viewers liked the pictures they could just pause the video and enjoy it as long as they wanted.
That's a very nice book. It's always great to see his old sketches. The man is a great artist.
