Man, this AI voiceover is making quick steps in the right direction, but it still falls somewhat short in expressing emotions properly.
i think it needs multiple attempts so you can choose the best out of them, for emotions the proper use of signals should do the thing for example that last kerrigan dialogue line was superb

I like the part that people get butchered eventually rise up to attack kerrigan's forces,it is very natural for people to do this when nukes are coming for you.
the original arthas campaign should also have this kind of scenario.
Thanks! I was inspired by red-wearing militia in Reforged, but there it was more like a reference to the future Scarlet Crusade, and here it's a direct rebellion against the Dominion.
The line-by-line spoof is so gold and impeccable.

Come to think of it I don't think we ever see any non zerg characters converse with cerebrates in Starcraft, seems like a missed opportunity for a cool interaction.
@@mrjawa3323 Makes sense lore-wise - cerebrates are just big blobs of brains - they can only communicate telepathically with other Zerg and "attuned" creatures like Kerrigan.
Come to think about it - have we ever seen the Overmind talking with anybody?

though I know that it's just adopting the interpretation of War III original plot in Starcraft version, dialogues hit me for peculiar sense. Zasz casually inviting Kerrigan to the heartland of Zergs and Kerrigan - who's merely a Terran - yelling that I will chase you to the end of galaxy? it's stunning because power dynamic is completely different yet it doesn't feel that much awkward.
Thanks for the video, Executor! I like how useful the Science Vessels tend to be in this mission: Irradiate against Hunter Killer and Ultralisks and Defensive Matrix to protect the tank, I mean Kerrigan.

There's a surprising lack of infested terrans in this mission. Although I guess they'd be way too annoying to deal with.
They are here, burrowed in some places. Executor just didn't show them in the video.

im loving this campaign, its really cool that the invention of IA voice mimicking just happened to be around this time, if you wanted to do this lets say 10 years ago you would have needed the original VA themselves to do this, it was possible to edit fragments from original campaign and make something out of it but its just not the same as it sounds odd due to limited dialogue lines and expression which is solved with our buddy IA

The only thing I see might be improved - I think it would be better thematically to have a buffed-up queen instead of hunter-killer :)
Thank you very much! Sadly, the AI doesn't work properly on enemy hero abilities, so that queen would just fly and do nothing... or, if you pick a normal Queen, fly around the map and Parasite/Spawn Brooding/Ensnare your units instead of doing what the triggers require. So it's the best way to use enemy heroes as mere bruisers and that was the most efficient option I could take.
@@farseer2043 Hmm, just a thought - said queen is flying around, while she is alive, the counter of "converted civilians" is going up, if/when a player manages to kill her - counter stops until she is resurrected. Even better if she can be made to hang out in certain locations/fly on predetermined path
And here I was thinking that the terran civilians will turn into infested marines after you destroyed the supply depot, phew
I wanted to do that, but couldn't make the triggers work properly. Sadly there is no function to replace units in SC1 Editor, and creation of Infested happened sometimes even after a Civilian was killed. And the second reason is that a lot of running bombs would be far more dangerous than just shamblers.

It would be more logical if the infested Terran cult was relatively small and only there to service beacons to show the Zerg swarm the direction towards the planet, after which all biomass of the planet is assimilated by the Zerg anyway. But it is already a different setting (you understand which one).
Of course, my friend is a Genestealer cultist, plays them at tournaments. And I'm Ynnari Aeldari and Votann by the way.

In fan warcraft 3 campaign there was alternative way, by curing villagers. Protoss here are instead of healers from warcraft 3, I remember about protoss nanite cure, or medics could de-infest poor civilians. Maybe it would be reasonable here.

Don't know how hard it is, but would be awesome to make some script if nukes kills the buildings, instead of getting the "villagers" (who are they in the SC universe?) out of the buildings, it would get you insta +4 kills in the score. Thus nuking the city would be satisfying! :D

Also, dunno how hard and how incredible would it look, to make such intro scenes in actual game instead of briefing.
Like static camera and 2D background does not giving the same vibe as it was complete opposite in Warcraft 3.
