Very fine delicate work, such a great job in handling this model. I plan to build both Nagato, and Mutsu. Vice Admiral Yamamoto Isoroku's flagship until he put his flag on Yamato, later Musashi until his death. I also like the music accompanying the build. All the best, take care.
I greatly admire your work, especially in what seems to be such a challenging scale. It tempts me to give it a try, even with eye sight that isn’t quite what it used to be. 1/350 scale models are so expensive - 1/700 seems to be the way to go if you can effectively work with that size. I’m subscribing.
Great looking model! A few questions 1 where do you get the deck? 2 without the PE is this kit relatively easy to assemble, 3 would you recommend this for a new builder?
Thank you very much! 1. I got the wooden deck from eBay. 2. Yes, it wasn’t that complicated. Minor fixes here and there. 3. Yup, I think a beginner can do this! I think Fujimi made a snap build kit of 1944 Nagato. It’s Similar to how Gundams are assembled so no glue or cement is needed. That kit is also pre-colored so no painting is needed.
Beautiful model of nagato one of my favorite battleships you've done an amazing job on such a small scale do you ever work on bigger scales such as 350 or 200 scale and how long did it take you to build this ship and again excellent build thank you for the video
Thank you very much! I've never worked on any big scale projects mainly because I don't have any place to display them afterwards. For this build it took me at least a month to complete.
@@KumaModels thank you for your reply you are a great model builder you have surgeon steady hands congratulations on your small ship builds I've seen other builds of yours with the aircraft carrier akagi I wish I could build something that small and have it look that good thanks again for sharing your videos and again excellent work stay safe
Excellent build! I got the kit a while ago, but I'm a total noob, so I'm using this as reference. May I ask what paint u used for the aircraft deck? I happen to have the mr color brown (43) which they used in the instructions and tamiya xf79 and I'm wondering which one is better in this case. (considering the dark gray(2) in the instructions is yokosuka gray instead of their kure gray)
For the aircraft deck I used Tamiya XF-79 (Linoleum Deck Brown). I decided to use this because Japanese ships had Linoleum decks. In the end the decision is still up to you!
Hi I am 12 year old fellow! Will you recommend me to buy 1/700 Japanese Heavy Cruiser Chokai? I also have some questions. 1) Do I am supposed to get wooden deck stickers with the kit? 2)Do I am supposed to get an airbrush for painting? 3)Can I use brushes instead of an airbrush?
Hello, I haven’t built any Japanese Heavy Cruisers but if it’s something you like then go for it! 1.) wooden deck sticker is optional, I just prefer using them. 2.) you can hand paint models, just make sure you thin them well enough. 3.) yes you can use normal brushes.
Amazing work!!! I am going to watch all of your build this weekend. Can I ask? What brand of cutters are you using on the sprue parts ? They look really good.
one of the best shipbuilding videos. I love the videos showing everything done without skipping the stages
Thank you very much!

Not all parts locate properly, I had to cut off some of the pins before some major parts fitted properly
Youre underrated. Absolutely beautiful 😍

What is the pin vise you used in the video?
Edit: I would also love to know what glue you use to glue the PE parts.
The pin vise I used was from Tamiya. The glue I use is loctite.

Does the airbrush set expensive? Bc I need a better equipment if I want to colour models..Great build tho
Thank you very much! My airbrush is the basic set from Tamiya. It cost around 120$. www.tamiya.com/english/products/74520basic_comp/basic_comp.htm
Nagato is my biggest love !!🤩💛🧡💚💙
hi please what code color for the red waterline ??
I use a mixture of Tamiya XF-7 Flat red and XF-9 Hull Red.

Thank you very much! I’m using Godhand Nippers!
What brand photo etch kit did you use?
I used Fujimi's photo etch that came included.
Wass the name of the music playing around 10:28
Trips by Topher Mohr and Alex Elena.
@@KumaModels thank you 👍🏾
I too think tamiya hull red is too brown. I just use flat red because it looks better.
What is the name of the first track ? And Amazing work 🙏
Thank you very much! The track is called Modern Situations by Unicorn Heads.
Thank you so much 🤗🙏
Nice👍
Thank you very much!
Are the "golden" parts included ?
For this edition of the kit yes.
Did you ever model Fusō?
No I haven’t.
At 11:27 what size brass rod did you use?
I believe I used 0.5mm diameter rods.
@@KumaModels Thanks, You did an amazing job on the ship.
What if you can do the IJN Fubuki
I'll try!

YAY! A NEW VIDDDD!!!,! AND ITS NAGATO!!!!!! OMG!! I LOVE THE VID! I’m the sixth! To watch the vid kuya!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you loved it!
I always love your vids kuya!!
Stay safe po!!
thank god it's not a waterline model
I do prefer full hull models!
Didn't know that Nagato was taller than Yamato xD
I think it was just the way I framed the image that made Nagato look taller, looking at the models side by side they're around the same height.
nicejob‼️😁
Thank you very much.
Все конечно хорошо, но по моему якорная цепь - переразмерена. Блин.Ну семисотый масштаб...Капец здоровая...
长门!

WON T YOU EVER MADE YAMATO
I made this comment when i was 12 so i wrote it in capitals 😂
