My first pick would be The Trace Tour at Buffalo Trace Distillery because their products are my daily drinkers, it has a lot of history and it's free. Book an early tour for a better chance at getting an allocated bottle. My Second pick would be Makers Mark because the distillery is very cool to walk around and at the end you can drip your own bottle.
My wife liked Maker's Mark. If this is your first time on the Bourbon trail down town Louisville is a great spot to start from our hotel it was walking distance to Michter's, Peerless, Old Forester, Evan Williams and Angels Envy and near lots of non Bourbon attractions too.

150 before tax and it was well worth it. Best bottle we got on the bourbon trail.
