Criminally underrated Band-Maid song imho.
Interesting to compare this to something like "Order" from their last album. For me, this is just on another planet. It's easy to see why the band were given free-reign from here.

The Maids are as entertaining off the stage as on!
When Akane comes in with her rapid fire double bass during Kanami's solo and at the end, to my ears, the sound of the bass drum is modulating Kanami's guitar notes. But it could just be my ears. This song kicks ass. As do both the others on this EP.
Looking forward to their new EP coming in Sept. I've preordered. Got my Misa and Day of Maid T-shirts delivered today, happy, happy.

Yeah, Primus is right. Not only because of MISA; those odd chords Kanami is playing in the background during the verses sound a lot like Ler. To me the difference between this and "Before Yesterday" just three songs ago, or "Order" as @Tiny Hat says, is striking. They somehow sound more mature; more confident as a band. Miku's lyrics (which some people keep insisting are irrepressibly happy and upbeat) are darker:

There are tracks on the next album ( Just Bring It ) that is written by others. That being Ooparts and So what.
Cross and Time has lyrics by Miku but the music is written by others.
On the World Domination Album all tracks are written by Band Maid but with co writer on Fate, Rock In Me and Turn Me On.
The Album Conqueror is 100% Band Maid except the Lyrics to The Dragon Cries

Hope you are having a great day SBR! I guess you heard already that Band Maid will release their newest EP in September, it's called, "Unleashed." Of course, I've heard two of those songs, "Sense" and "Corallium" many times, but I'm really looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. If Kanami is the one being unleashed, I have to wonder what kind of crazy songs she has written. If it is Akane being unleashed, are the gorilla's drums going to explode?

You can hear the music starting to change but the next album is the big change I think anyway but I still believe that iff BAND-MAID kept going the way they were they would still have been successful but then this song really is a classy effort.

Yes ! The only thing as good as Unfair game is Matchless Gum! Unfair Game is their most metal song imo.
