I was born with hip dysplasia on both sides in 1982 and my parents were completely heart broken thinking I'd always need assistance using my legs and possibly in a wheelchair. As I grew up and out of my cast, etc. I have been their most active child to this day as an almost 40 year old who runs and works out at least 4 times a week. Seeing Scarlett do so great on that run on Instagram brought all that back up for me! Go Scarlett!!!

I haven't explored options yet but I think hormone replacement therapy can help.

My daughter just turned 2 and had 2 spica cast and is in a brace for nights still. I know how DDH journey feels . She walking now finally! I can’t wait to see my daughter later on Run like your daughter does z

Definitely more introverted now at age 37. As a kid, very very extroverted but my husband is a major introvert. Also, have an almost 2 year old, really busy. I prefer to stay at home also. Went to the pharmacy in a store and decided to shop since I was there, on a Saturday.... and I was like "Ugh, it's too people-y in here!" I could not wait to go home. I agree, love my bed, my couch... my everything. Haha.

My son does front flips off the diving bored. He is only three is amazing what little ones can do all by themselves. He just done it one day on his own with no help and never quiet doing them. I can definitely relate! In my late 20's I started to become a homebody. We were living in the 'cool' part of town, walking distance to bars... but we would just stay home and watch TV every night. That's when my husband and I knew we were ready for kids and the suburbs! :P
