    Would you reccomend markers as opposed to paint?

    • @DaggetDesigns
      @DaggetDesigns  2 роки тому

      Really depends what you’re comfortable with and what you like the look of. I’ve gone from markers, to paint to colour pencil work most recently, i still use paints occasionally but rarely do i ever use markers these days 😊 find what you like, it will likely change over time

    Awesome art, quick question. What’s the visual difference between Oni and Hannya? I know the Oni is male and Hannya is Female, but every time I look for Oni tattoo/artwork I get results saying both, so visually what’s the difference between the two? Especially in tattooing as I’m heavily considering getting a traditional Japanese Oni tattoo.

    • @DaggetDesigns
      @DaggetDesigns  2 роки тому +1

      Hey man! Appreciate it
      Typically Oni can refer to any demonic character or even a troll like creature in Japanese folklore. As far as I know Hannya refers to a specific character. It’s unfortunate that Oni on google simply brings up pictures of Hannya masks, makes it difficult to find good Oni references. Hope this helps

    Hi Nice tutorial! Can I ask, did you add any water/thinner with the acrylic in your pallet before you paint? It looks so liquid. I'm using angelus acrylic paints and it doesn't look anything lime your's.

    • @DaggetDesigns
      @DaggetDesigns  3 роки тому

      Hi there, thanks for watching. The pigments I use aren’t paint, they are acrylic ink, this is what gives them the fluid like consistency😊
