I find it very impressive that they have such an initiative at governement level
Right on. Agreed.
Great insight, no matter how much power and ackowledge we've got, we couldn't use it to improve our happines... it is really something to think about, we still have the same primitive brain, even the newest anti deppressant are ineffecient to achive that goal
Yuval's socks make me happy
We need more people like him
Happiness is not a goal, it is a by-product.
We're not wired for happiness but survival.
That might be true.
Also we are, like all animals, evolved (wired) to avoid suffering. Which is a step towards happiness but not enough.
Dude stop over thinking it..... Its not rocket science every animal on this planet wants to be happy....
❤❤❤
Sustainable, inclusive development is required to save earth planet
Sustainable is just another way to tax people in this monetary slave system....
Time. You can only understand yourself if you have an inordinate amount of time.
50,000 years ago, hunter-gather people had enormous amounts of time to think and contemplate.
Today, we have such little time that we have to eat fast food, but fast clothes, and fast delivery of our stuff. We become angry and anxious when things aren’t fast enough.
I didn’t get into the study of politics until I had more time.
Kuza zangpo? Stayed in Bhutan for 15 days. Nice people.
Craving for anything is a main cause of ssuffering ,self knowledge is essential to do right
What about the knowledge that this guy wants you to have no free will...
Human beings may do things in the hopes that it will make them happy but there is another side to this. In our joyful moments, what we do is an expression of that Joy. The dogs at my local dog run along with the children in my neighbourhood are not doing things in order to be happy. They're play is an expression of their joy and happiness and not a means of attainment.
Glad I found you and thank you for your atención and vision for the human race

Where you in Bhutan?
Start LWL and see by yourself
Nope not happy. Pissed off and morose. But great pride in their wealth and gaining more of it. Pretty sure they see it as virtuous or at least proof of greatness.
They're just bored and don't know what else to do.
🕊️✨ I am every day more and more happy that Jesus is coming to take His own to Heaven.✨🕊️
tu é espírita Yuval?
Why does he have to take the example of Putin , and not perhaps the USA ?
The more I listen to Yuval, the more I think he might be off-base. Not sure how "happy" he is, yet he prescribes a direction that sounds intellectually appealing that is ultimately ineffective. Loosely evidenced by who he advises and what they are trying to implement.
Anything is ineffective until it works.
@@laaaliiiluuu If it works then it would be effective. If you are saying we should "keep trying", then we should consider the cost of what is being proposed. Winning $100 at the cost of $200 is not rational and does not increase overall happiness, it is just shuffling the deck chairs.
@@moycious Every invention was inefficient and costly in the beginning. Just think how much gasoline planes needed to fly and how little they now need (relatively speaking). Some things simply take time to be worth the investment. Or think of children. For many years they only cost your money, time and effort before they even become remotely useful as a social being. Sure, some gambles are always a lose but that's how life works. You fail 99 times and then you succeed.
@@laaaliiiluuu Massive social and behavioral changes based on policy changes and coerced regulations are not like immutable empiric laws that can be tested in a lab and then extrapolated into the known physical realm that we live in. While the Wright Brothers could have ignored a risk/return ratio failing over and over again their bets where based on scientific knowledge. Moreover, they had skin in the game because they were playing with their own lives and fortunes. Rearing a child follows Darwinian instincts and it is perfectly natural for an extravagant expenditure of calories to ensure the survival of your genetic code, a bet that has a good pay off because after all, you can't take it with you. A lot of what is suggested sounds like forced cultural evolution from a beneficent overlord who at the end of the day, still wants to remain in power. To me although it sounds good, it seems misguided, biased and haphazard.
You should give this advice to Israeli government also.
He gives A LOT of advice to Israel, inform yourself
@@Shivaroz9not to the government
@@Shivaroz9 clearly he does...they are trying to fulfill what will never happen as most Israelis are unfamiliar with the New Testament so they are attempting to create a false messiah using tech....the deicidal curse is real...read the New Testament and know facts/truth...however, Jews all over are waking up to our Lord Jesus being their Messiah...the pharisees, scribes, etc from the Bible are all too present today...Yuval seemingly one of them imo
Putin is cool and has a hot wife 😊
To know God is happiness. A life wasted on self discovery is indeed a wasted life. Ask him with all your heart to reveal himself to you and he will. Ask in Jesus' name.
Prove it. Yeah you can’t because this is only your belief. Mostly religious i know are unhappy, and worst, with the authoritarian tendency of the need to convince other (and making they miserable also - but “save”).
