GTA San Andreas was the best of the polygon-era, but the best story has to be IV because of how grounded and realistic it made life to be. There was a real connection with Niko and the other characters, and the DLC stories were pretty great as well. V is better in a technical aspect, but the story is a bit over the top and wonky.
GTA 4 isn't overrated I'm just tired of people bringing it up to shit on GTA 5 like it wasn't a legendary game all the GTA games are legendary bro a lot of these Internet people be pissing me off like GTA 5 isn't arguably the greatest game ever and GTA 4 is my favorite game

Remember bro GTA 5 come out on the PS3 they weren’t waiting for the PS5. They were milking GTA online want proof? Why is there a Red Dead online and no story mode dlc? You can even just buy red dead online on the game store AND YOU GOT TO PAY TO PLAY IT!!!!!! Red Dead 1 had both some don’t remember that. That why I can’t stand GTA online I had fun on it but it had a part in ruining single player games.
GTA 4 was definitely top 3 shit deadass was litt on Xbox 360 and looked more realistic than other gta’s and didn’t have all that goofy shit like gta 5 had online

I think GTA4 was better than GTA5. GTA4 was more immersible, their online was also fun, but had gun balancing issues where you can shoot a player across the map with the smg. GTA5 had a good story and great graphics, but the buildings are like stickers and you cant walk into most buildings. In GTA4 you can walk into and explore almost every building
