- This time Josh found a super fancy Afternoon Tea, the quintessential British tea and cakes tradition! And of course it was "love themed"...
DISCLAIMER: we found out later that while this was ordered from a place with 3 Michelin Stars, that place is actually split into 3 different restaurants under one name, and the restaurant that serves afternoon tea does not have a Michelin Star.

Just FYI guys, some kind of UA-cam bug has meant that when you watch the video back in a Chrome browser, the video's audio is completely out of sync.
As far as I can tell if you watch it back on the UA-cam mobile app (or even in another browser other than Chrome?!), then it plays back absolutely fine without any desync. We'll try and get the issue sorted with UA-cam but in the meantime you can watch the video that way!

I hope chef fred don isn’t having a breakdown watching this, hearing ollie calling his fancy truffle bun “truffle twinkie”
given how quirky sketch is, i think he'd love it. the main room is the pinkest pink you'll ever see, the bathrooms look like futuristic egg pods, and one of the restaurant rooms looks like you walked into a fragonard painting. it's incredibly posh, but a little tongue in cheek about its poshness.
Not to mention moldy tellytubbies and lipgloss poo hahaha

It's a truly brilliant idea, if they can afford it, considering that most of us will never get to go to those places. And they were still in lockdown when they did it, so it was a good creative idea to do during lockdown

I'm not even mad, I love the Michelin Madness videos! Their travel costs have gone nown drastically since the pandemic, so I'm pretty sure they can afford it. I mean, they used to fly back and forth between London and Seoul multiple times a year! Even the most expensive Michelin take-out is still cheaper than the airfare from England to Korea

@@thegreatsalad Probably difficult to make at home, since you need to steep the tea, preheat the pot, brew the leaves and such. I cant imagine they'd offer a tea bag for an exclusive tea, more than likely it would be loose.
@@dumbbellenjoyer Loose leaf is not that hard to make. You can put the tea strainer with the leaves and add the boiling water and then leave it to brew

They should also know him as Mountbatten, the british branch of the family is called that. Lord Mountbatten was Prinz Phillips grandfather and sea admiral in WW1 for the UK. He was married to one of queen victorias granddaughters, for this wedding the cake was created
