Love it man. Any chance on doing a Feral guide? Or do you have an online resource one could reference if they want to push their Feral DPS? I'm looking for tips on the nuance of Feral. For instance, I think I saw you holding on to 5 combos when Rip was close to falling off, and I'm assuming you're doing that so ensure Rip can be reapplied right away? Is it better then to just keep shredding when Rip is near expiry, instead of doing Ferocious Bite?
Hey I'm glad you enjoyed video. Well first thing I can say is that I stream quite often so you can tune in and ask me anything. I might do a Feral guide soon honestly. Short explanation how I do stuff with rotation is basically keeping the uptime of Rip/Rake and Savage Roar a bit different. I see Savage Roar as like some aura Ferals must have from first one used until end without ever almost falling off. So to not get into sticky situation where everything is dropping at same time (Rip/Rake/Savage) try to refresh Savage Roar sometimes a bit earlier, ahead of time if you will. It helps you prepare and have enough energy/time for your next Rip/Rake without worrying.
Hey man what’s your stance on bear weaving ? Heard lots of different things people focusing on keeping lacerate up or just using bear mangle whenever they are on low energy as cat.
I heard about it and right now I don't think it's going to be good. You have 3 stats that are greater in feral form compared to bear ( speed, attack power and crit ) while bear has stronger base damage on auto attack. Even if you are low on energy there are possibilities of you getting Clearcasting one after another where Shred can be utilized fully and increase the dps by a lot. I know that is just based of pure rng but I think even without that luck you will still gain more than bear weaving. To be clear with you I can be wrong and this is just my current opinion. I strongly suggest you to test both once you start doing single target on bosses in heroic dungeons with different kind of auras (Bloodlust/Heroism , Mele haste buff , Pala buffs etc ) because I know I will and make video about it.
@@mrstar8619 you get the same number of omen procs bearweaving as you would sitting in cat because the proc rate is normalized (each bear weap swing has 2.5x the chance to proc it). It will just take skill to react to go back into cat to spend it on shred.
Feral should be always top 5 on single target bosses or where there is a lot of aoe (like here) and what can make him top dps is rng, a lot of gear and Hysteria. Fury is not a thing at all up until mid - late Ulduar when they get good amount of gear. Right now I have alt one and playing literally in mentioned phase of Ulduar ( mid - late ) and I'm doing quite good with 400+ armor pen and around 40% crit. So to answer your question they start to be 2 very good competitors between each other once Fury gets his armor pen/crit gear funneled ( and ofc keep in mind what bosses is it cleave friendly or single target and rng for both of them important)
Early wrath because of the lack of crit% fury isnt the dps spec for warriors. They all go arms because of the +15% crit on HS, which glyphed, returns 10 rage back
Regardless the amount of procs it is important that you use them on shred as much as you can. And crit is very important rng for feral ( since it also decides for 1 or 2 combo points) and in general how you play each boss fight. So I don't think amount of omen procs is important if other things mentioned don't align properly.
@@mrstar8619 do you have logs on feral in classic? because compared to warmane feral is underperforming a ton. a big reason for this i believe is not only the omen proc but also because ferals are not getting fed hysterias nearly as commonly (also hysteria doesnt show up as dps in warcraft logs).
@@BebopHero It does show its just called Unholy Frenzy and you need to look under Buff segment. My logs are gonna be mostly shit because I play on 180ms there but trust me ferals are not bad at all. You need to understand difference between Warmane and classic. Warmane is much harder, bosses have more hp (30-40%) which makes you do less dps over time. Gluth here has 17 mil hp compared to classic's 10 mil. There is no way with same gear ( and your guild good geared/good dps) you gonna do less than on Warmane
Amazing
