- Hey guys, in this top I rank each country based on its stage performance ONLY!! I don't take under consideration the songs' quality but just the STAGING(visuals, choreography, outfits, props etc) and VOCALS (main and back)!! Enjoy! :)
Australia was magic but personally I still prefer the amazing staging and vocals of greece. A clear top 2 tho and for me a clear top 5:

Totally agree with you about Australia. That was just pure brilliance!
Australia has raised the standard of Eurovision to a new high with this incredible performance by Kate Miller-Heidke. Her song is artistically brilliant; the message about overcoming depression is powerful and uplifting. The staging is simply breathtaking. Kate looks beautiful and her vocals are outstanding - she sings like an angel as she balances on a pole! This is perhaps the best song and performance in the history of Eurovision.

Dear friend, I've always thought about it and said that "Zero Gravity" would have been an outsider. And here she demonstrated it both in the voice and in the stage. My rank:
01) Zero Gravity (I don't like the song but the voice and the stage are amazingly beautiful)
02) Kruna (I don't like the song but the voice doesn't have a false note)
03) Pali sie (Undoubtedly it's difficult in four to maintain synchrony. Well done)
04) Az en apam (I love his unique and harmonious voice at the same time)
05) Hatrio mun sigra (I love this song even though compared to the NF it has lost a bit of grit)
06) Better love (For me something didn't work .... there are the choirs that greatly dominate his beautiful voice)
07) Replay (Maybe I only heard it but I perceived the difficulty to reach the high tones)
08) Telemoveis (Nice theater stage like at NF, but I repeat that he can't have difficulty singing a non-song)
09) Sebi (Very flat song and certainly without any difficulty. Enough.)
10) Wake up (I'm a little disappointed .... I was hoping better after the live in London)
With some "likes" and some "I don't like", these are the 10 songs that, for me, will go to the final. Maybe "Storm" instead of "Wake up". Gretting, Paolo

@@stonecold007, It's one thing to give the artist credit if he has capacity, another is musical taste. It's as if you had a table where you vote for the voice, the performance, the stage and the song. In this case I gave the vote to the voice and the performance. Then my musical tastes take me elsewhere. I will hear about these artists only until May 18th. Some will succeed, I don't know, but surely only 4 or 5 will remain in the memory as happens every year. This is why I prefer to listen to them on the i-phone (those that interest me): My top 10 favs. for the final are:
1) She got me -- Arcade -- Soldi
2) Hatrio mun sigra -- Spirit in the sky -- Truth
3) La venda -- Scream -- Chameleon -- Home Enjoy, gretting, Paolo
As an Australian I think zero gravity is an ok song but the staging is what is going to take it to the finals.I’m so glad we are doing our own staging now because for the past few years I felt we were given the dregs of staging . I also shows how as humans we are very visual people before the rehearsals most people were indifferent to the song or out and out hated it but now the staging has changed so many minds . I didn’t like the Ukraine song in 2016 but it won because of the staging - I understood the theme of the song but not a word of it and as a pathetic person who only speaks English and a few swear words and hw to order a meal in German it didn’t catch my attention until the rehearsals.
@@kimnovak8985, I adapt myself to the way of evaluation used by everyone, even if I do not agree with the ESC evaluation system. With all the respect I feel for Australia (which I visited a few years ago - I fell in love with it), for Kate and her beautiful voice
I would like to tell you this: if we take the whole package (voice, stage, outfit, song) it would definitely be in the top 10 on May 18th. If we take only the song I think there are at least 14/15 better than this one. This is just my opinion. Then, sorry, it's called Eurovision song contest why ??? It should only be the song and how it is sung to be evaluated. Gretting, Paolo.

I was really amazed by Georgia! I didn't like the song that much at first, but it has definitely grown on me! The same goes for Greece; wasn't too hyped in the beginning, but Katerine has a magical voice!

Yes I know it makes absolutely no sense for us to be in Eurovision. But Australia has adored the ESC for years, and we are thrilled to now be allowed to compete as more than a "guest". We are even allowed to vote along with all the other countries!
Thank you for welcoming us into your community in this way. And thank you for the respect you have shown to Kate Miller Heidke. Whether she wins or loses, she has done our country proud.

I like how you tried to evaluate just the performance but I suspect you were just a little soft on a couple of your favourites! 🤣
I don't think I'm going to rank the rehearsals so a couple of takeaways from me...
a) Australia did themself a big favour with this performance. SF1 winner.
b) Serbia have the best vocalist in the ENTIRE contest. She sounds exactly the same pre-mixing as she does during a live performance.
c) Georgia are going to JUST miss out on qualification. They have elevated their song that much.
d) Tamta's vocals are an issue at this stage. You might've given her too much credit. 😬
e) Belgium are in trouble.
I cannot see why you are saying that. I have my 32nd first and my 41st (last place) third!! 😂😂I actually wish I was a little bit softer on my favourites(Finland and Belgium let's say) but that's the ugly truth :/. I hope they will have changes.

Make a video ;-) To be honest, whenever I had a same rating (like Cyprus, Iceland and Serbia with 8/10) I was tie breaking them based on my favourites so, it could easily be something like Serbia 4th, Iceland 5th and Cyprus 6th. For first rehearsal and an upbeat song, Tamta's vocals sound good but of course, we will have to see more from it to get a better listen(in dress rehearsals maybe). So yeh, you have a point there. ;-)

Im sorry to disagree but Estonia is at the same level as Finland, boring, repetitive, and a weak song and staging. The only difference is thar Finland has a stronger vocalist while Victor Crone sounds the exact same from his NF performances
