Lake El Salto - Fishing for Mexico's Biggest Bass

A short recap of a recent trip to Mexico's premier bass fishing lakes, El Salto and Picachos. I was lucky enough to spend four days targeting big bass south of the border.
We fished at Anglers Inn El Salto for two and a half days and then made the drive down to Anglers Inn Picachos for a day and a half of fishing. We visited in mid-to-end of July so the lake was below pool, allowing us to target even more submerged trees than usual.
It's no secret, but we found success in the El Salto staple baits of 10+in texas rigged worms, Topwater, lipless crankbaits, deep crankbaits, and my favorite and most successful bait, large swimbaits.
It was a trip of a lifetime and I'm itching to find a way back there one day.
