    Hi RICH, thanks a lot for This great video. It changes from the other training video and we like it ! Btw I just bought the tsp oversized valve 2 days ago from Slavens. We’ll see if it helps or if it is more a tuning gadget. I’m excited to see your next video with the install of the tsp head. Cheers

    The TSP tuner is looking very attractive, my 23 TX 300 has always run very rich on the low end even after having a new tune flashed into the ECM. Tight single track it loads up and you have to clear it out regularly, not ideal for a woods bike, my old 18 XCW is looking pretty good right now.

    This is crazy. Already the most expensive machine out there yet you have to change brakes, fuelling system and potentially suspension parts for it just to get in line with Beta. I had Magura brakes on my 19 husky and I wasn’t a fan. I’ll take the Beta or Sherco every time now.

    Hi Rich! I didnt even ride the TBI until I got the ERM... Are you getting lack of throttle response on these(slower to build revs on a blip)? I have started riding my TBI bike, and it just feels like there is a delay in power delivery even with the TSP head... I know part of it is adapting but on a carb bikes or the TPI bike there is none of that. Could just be my bike. Awesome video as always

    • @MathewsGuitarWorks
      @MathewsGuitarWorks 5 місяців тому

      The only difference between the white and green maps is, the power valve opens to 80% max in the white map where it opens 100% in the green. There isn’t any difference in fueling with a stock bike. So when you are riding low rpm ranges, you won’t feel a difference until you hit enough rpm/throttle to get the electronic power valve to open. I’m currently riding a ‘24 Husky TX300 for reference.

    • @onthethrottle7104

    I'm on a 2019 TE300i (notoriously the worst running because it was the first year of TPI) I've been on the fence with TSP kits for a long time. I've gotten by well enough with idle adjustments and hard tuning in the throttle body but my cold starts are still horrible (even after a factory update and lots of testing). Does the TSP kit (ERM or not) improve or allow you to adjust your initial cold starting? Also asking as I am approaching a new bike in the next year or so.

      They don’t run that bad stock, the stock maps are a compromise for emissions regulations. Pro’s and cons; I’ve never had a carb’d bike run perfect out of the crate, but of course they’re way cheaper to get dialed than EFI. The major pro to the EFI though is you can take it way up or down in altitude, or have a 30°F temp change and it will compensate for all of that automatically and way more consistently, where a carb will have you messing with it every time those things change to keep it consistent.

    • @fishtailfuture

      @@MoorlandBeta Good to know about better resale in the UK. Here in the US it is difficult to sell a Beta. When I sell a KTM it goes right away and I get great money. As for the Beta wiring issue, it's either the Diode Pack or some other issue over and over. The wiring connectors are so cheap. I did upgrade the wiring harness and installed thicker wire to include an extra ground on this bike, we'll see. Stator went bad too. The way they convert AC to DC is strange as well. Anyway, yes they are really nice bikes but they need to figure out the wiring issue and upgrade the components. As for support, they do get back to you quickly. I'm just not sold on Beta.
