- Join me on what is likely the most complete run in all of Train Simulator Classic. Enjoy Northeast Regional 164 from Richmond to Boston with AI trains to compliment the run for every mile of track except the single stretch between Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA. This video is great for entertainment, study, and sleep with it's length running over 10hrs long.
What happened to the run between Baltimore & Philly? The video is incomplete
This was made before the release of the track from Baltimore to Philly. I may re edit it in the future but am very busy with work and other life events.
for the richmond - dc section, were you using the true rail simulaton p42? if you were, how were you able to get it to work with the ai? I've tried before but couldn't get it to fully work.
You have to have a lead unit leading the train that way it functions correctly. But you are correct great observation.
also set speed to 100% so that it doesn't lollygag. That causes weird issues.
@@DevonMopiedmont1143 ok. Thank you
how are you getting the ai trains i can’t figure it out lol
Ai trains are very tricky and how smoothly they run can be dependent on many factors from the amount of AI trains, amount of assets, length of route, and how many AI trains you run.
Do the Carolina next
Since the Carolinian would simply be a faster version of what is essentially the same route of what is already filmed, I will likely not be doing that any time soon without some significant portion of track south of Richmond becoming available. This video alone took over a week of planning, testing, and execution to get AI trains to run instead of simply running a quick drive from point to point and calling it good.
@@DevonMopiedmont1143 oh
how;d you get a route like this?
All the routes are available on the train sim workshop. Richmond to DC and New Haven to Boston are the only ones not made by Dovetail and Co
