Nice axe handle.my grandfather and my father used to make handles for everything.axes hammers shovels you name it.grand dad even made his own oars. All by hand there wasn’t any power tools in those days.Grand Dad favoured dogwood for his handles if he came across one. They grow very slowly and are usually fairly straight and very fine grained so realty strong.good for handles.Oars we’re for or spruce.

Love the content. Part of the reason I watch your channel is because of the beautiful area you work but also I’m a helicopter pilot. I like to see what and how the helicopter operations go. Don’t suppose you could do an interview and walk around of the aviation side-of-the-house video?

Treaking via bush bashing through scrub and over growth will certainly work up your appetite real quick aye. Excellent communication Bjarne directing in the helicopter to drop off your chainsaw gear, you all turned out a slick heli-pad.
I like the way you shaped the axe handle you made, hope it holds out for you, cheers for the swish reel...

I have watched quite a lot of your work; that axe handle fitting is, so far as I can recall, the first half arsed job I have seen from you. I guess that is a very good record overall.

Causes blisters when working. The oils from your hands will protect the wood. This handle will not last long anyway. The split will travel.

Always wondered what kind of dead animal was lying half in half out of the little creeks I'd get water from. Giardia aka Beaver fever ...been lucky that I never got it..but have friends that picked it up ....and pooped the loads to prove it.
