I grew Bergamot a couple of years ago..... I didn't realise they are perennial.... I have a lovely clump of them in the garden and split from the roots now...I planted a purple leaved geranium next to the Bergamot and it made a lovely show this Summer.

Dear gardening friend , your channel is helpful I love the time line of steps.
Step 1 before you buy maybe there are friends who offered to share flower seeds for free❤🌷🌷❓
Step 2 after sowing, are you sure they (monarda) need the dome❓
Step 3 germination, you mentioned, was somewhat disappointing 😮
Monarda is a genus of north American species where tgey experience hard biting frosts 🥶
Maybe they ought to be sown in winter in a cold frame and then have better germination rate❓ i postulate. My seeds of monarda citriodora were sown 10 days ago, and i placed them in the fridge 5°C for now I'm waiting to see what would happen...
Happy gardening and one more thing ..don't forget to dry some leaves to add to your teapot!!
Bergamot is the spice of earl grey Tea 🍵

I highly recommend the "rose scented" variety. It has a pretty purplish-fuschia colored flower and the underside of the leaves are purple. It smells amazing and it doesn't get as tall as some varieties. I guess mine is around 3ft. It's probably the shortest I've got next to the citrus scented.

Question: A rough guess, on average, how long does it take for 2 sets of leaves to appear/grow from germination?
Great videos by the way 👍
