- In this video I go over several tips to help you win with random teammates in Fortnite Reload. Since Fortnite Reload is only Duos and Squads this has led many players who would normally play solo to need to play with random teammates and many have struggled. Most players will obviously play better with teammates they know but there's still a lot you can do to play better while playing with fill teammates. What about when you jump off the bus and your random leaves the game. Then it isn’t Reload anymore.
I feel your pain, I hate when my teammate gets knocked and they just leave the game. They can get revived in 5 seconds and still just leaves.

@@mrlychee38 who wants to keep leaving a match instead of playing the game? If I would leave too, I would be leaving and sitting in queues more than I am playing the game

In Warzone Resurgence they have solos and once you are alive for a certain amount of time you are guaranteed a respawn and the timer restarts when you land again (it gets longer every death.) So when your teammates abandon you in squads, the game just counts you as a solo and you can still respawn. This feature wasn’t incorporated until a year or so after launch so hopefully Fortnite will add it soon.

I always end up following my teammate in duos and cover them. If they’re decent, it works. If they’re not great you end up playing solos. Squads is just crazy in fill. Sometimes you can guide them with markers etc but a lot of times they just play as 3 separate players. It can be great or it can be a train crash.
Starting with YOUR mindset is Goated. The world doesn’t revolve around us and no one can read our minds. Great vid as always.
All these years and people still want to drop tilted, get 1 or no kills, die, and leave the game. You can bet they are going into the next game and doing the same.
I like playing with randoms but... generally had very little success compared to discord lfg. Plus randoms notorious for leaving on death or randomly.

Tbh that's the reason why I find it hard to want to play fills. The teammates just leave right after they die and there is no punishment for doing so. It's a frustrating experience even if the concept is fun in general.

But then again I had a successful random squads last night and it was hilarious. Squeaker from Australia and a normal guy with me and friend and games were wild but we won every game. If randoms have mics it's much better.
I'm constantly training my teammates not to say "right there" and use markers more often. Markers are SOOOO helpful for someone old like me, trying to spot enemies during the mayhem. And don't even worry about danger markers being precise. Even the general direction helps a ton.

I’m usually anxious about playing with people (in a social sense) but this mode has been actually fun so far. Haven’t got a win yet with randoms, but got close. I mark danger and give heals, bc I like to help. When teammates stick together it’s so nice!

I wasnt expecting much when I loaded in and saw he was level 35 but he was the goat

So many people get in fights, with mics, ask for help, but refuse to mark the enemy location.
Its so annoying..
Or the players who refuse to speak on the mic and report enemy positions... until they're knocked. "He's one shot!" lol
I have only played random teams in Reload, but I won 3 times in one day. I think partly because I got lucky good teammates, but also because I got used to the mode and played better myself. It's definitely possible to get wins in Reload. Every team I have been on, regardless of their levels, has tried hard to win. They may have had different strats from my ideal strat, but they have always tried, without giving up. Keep playing, and you'll contribute and possibly win.

I’m really enjoying reload. Playing it more than BR which is all cars cars cars. I love how fast it is and I’m getting so much more practice with combat. I always have a mic and find that with reload people use it less. But when I did have teammates using it, it was as fun and as helpful as normal BR. I enjoy the lottery of playing with randoms. Makes it all the better when you get paired with a cool teammate. I’d rather one who talks so we can team and also have some fun than one who is better as a solo

Random teammates make this mode unplayable unless you have friends. They either quit or push with 2 seconds left until I reboot and get killed.
I just can't do randoms anymore. Few have mics & the few that do talk like ninja and think they r better than bugha, I just can't 😂
I use randoms pretty frequently, it feels more weird with duos. It’s somewhat fun to see who you get

Oh dope, I actually didn't know double tapping the mark button also marks danger. I have a separate key for that, but well I was running out of buttons XD
My fill teammates never mark, I am a player who marks when I play though. A lot of the times when I play, my teammate just jumps off the bus immediately or waits and just jumps. I even mark a POI and they just ignore me and/or my markers.

Tbh my problem with fortnite reload randoms is when they leave right after they die and the reboots are still active. It's really annoying because the randoms I get seem to have absolutely no resilience whatsoever. I imagine it would be quite fun but I just seem to be getting unlucky every time I try. It's a very good mode for sure though and I may try again with some friends later on.
None of my friends play fortnite so I either play solo or squad fill in battle royale. For reload I only play squad full since I think it is a better experience than duo. I wish they had a solo mode but that would take away from the fast pace nature of reload.
Solo could definitely work, and if they brought it to the game, I would probably stop playing normal BR all together.
They could make it so you can earn your respawn in solo. For example: You can only respawn if you get x amount of kills before you die, then turn off respawns at the end, just like in duos or squads.
I think it'd still be pretty fast paced (as people are fighting to earn their respawn ticket). People could drop insanely high kill games.

When i play reload my teammate is afk or he leaves or they are a bot but sometimes i get good teammate but not very often

Strategy in reload mode with randoms that seems to work is going off by myself and stay out of sight until the countdown timer expires respawns, all the while, hoarding porta forts - then meet up with them in the end. Let's see what you say.
Playing Reload duos with randoms is my new favorite game mode.
I've had a few decent games with randoms. Only ever played random in reload, My girlfriend is my zero build duos partner and she doesn't like how hectic reload can be. But I've had a few really good teams in reload where I could almost just sit back and watch my team win fights
Taking a break from Reload, and Fortnite in general. Played 5 matches in a row where my random teammate was just afk. I don’t know if I was matched with bots or if they were actual people, but that half an hour or so was weird and irritating lol. Was opposed to reload having solos but now I kinda want it. It’s 70/30 right now in my experience. 70% I get randoms that are afk, leave at the start, or are across the map playing like solos. 30% I get a good random and we survive to the last few duos left or outright win.

Reload solos can never be. The point is to stay alive so that your teammate can "Reload" into the game. The game you want would just be called "Load".

@@rays1548yes it can. Warzone did it. When you die, you get rebooted and a timer starts. If you die before the timer finishes, you're out. And each time you get rebooted, the timer gets longer and longer.

Can't you do a video on how to play better with controller. How to jump and shoot. How to strafe. I always lose to this.
I play BR Squads - Fill almost exclusively.

I just play solos as I find playing with randoms hard work 😅
I play duos no fill mostly because I have a hard time getting people that will actually stick together, because unit play is so important in this and it is rare to get that consistently

During underground season I've had over 140+ crowns just with randoms
I played with randoms in squads one of my teamates sent a friend request after our team died and gave me a crown on our next game in duo reload and we won because i showed him during the game i had one crown and he had 17

I only play random teams for 95% of my games.. somes poo but most put the work in
Ill go where they want to go, unless its Tilted. Going there off the rip is stupid imo. you just hard fight forever and nobody usually gets wiped and everyone on the outskirts has better loot and position as a result. (in squads anyway) I dont play duos unless its with someone I know.

Passive players can be good too. Just depends really.
There needs to be a fill mode that only allows players with headset. It makes no sense that 90% of fill teammates have no headset. I'll never get it. Fill players always let me down
Even worse: using the ‘mic on’ tag when you don’t use a mic. 🤦
