  • See the world's most complicated hybrid transmission. A Tribute to Bud Haggert and the original Turbo-Encabulator film from the late 1970s.
As an instructor for General Motors for 13 years, I must have shown the original film hundreds of times in my automatic transmission classes. It was funny every time.
I am usually a very serious man, this is an attempt to be funny.
NOTICE: This is not a real product, just a spoof, a little Friday fun!

After watching your outstanding, informative video, I diagnosed my car's rough shifting between 2nd and 3rd gear. A $6.98 can of Drano cleared the Trummi pipe and eliminated the excessive backlash on the Sperving bearings -- my transmission shifts as smooth as silk now. Thanks, Professor Kelly!

So if I get this straight if the marzel vanes are badly worn that means you would have excessive side fumbling of the luner wayne shaft. Would that call for a total rebuild of the turbo encabulator? Last time I used it I couldn't get the rpm up and it had a horrible vibration.
