Western media likes to paint foreigners as the demons who often cheat or blame them for whatever social ills happening here. Americans don't cheat? Really, eh? To those who believe this fake Fox news, shame on you for preaching to others how God-fearing, upright, and honest you all are when, in fact, many of the rich in America got their ill-gotten wealth through corrupt practices, schemes or committed crimes which would make foreign students who cheated appear quite innocent by comparison to them!

Actually, the universities don't like this scheme at all because it takes away from their own legalized bribery scheme to gain admission. All the parents have to do is make a large donation to the university to endow a chair or finance a new building, then their mediocre kid's chance of getting accepted miraculously goes way up.

This is not a case where a rich family gave huge donations to build a library where all students can benefit.
This is a case of where families are paying money to DEFRAUD the system....they are paying money to CHEAT....pay money to people to change test results or to take the test on behalf other their kid or photoshop their kid's face on a true school athlete.

Gelawdeows you stfu whites have been gaming the system since it's inception that's how America established systematic racism. The socioeconomic conditions in America doesn't mean whites are better no by a long shot it only means white Americans have been helping each other even if they can't on their own. Social programs are an example from the homestead act to the GI bill and others America had a vested interest helping the whites even though blacks built this country for free for centuries as slaves while whites sat on their ass. The advantages that whites have today are only because America insists on not giving blacks their fair share of the American pie. I've watched with impunity for decades whites given positions that they weren't qualified as well as loans to start companies in an effort to give them an upper hand. Why do think so many companies have been sued across America for discriminatory practices. This is far deeper than just a few people trying to get their kids in s good school America will never move forward until the policy of discrimination and racism is destroyed for ever.

In Canada, we just don't have the 'legacy' concept as an entrance advantage. McGill (one of Canada's most prestigious universities) even states that they don't care if your parents or grandparents went to McGill or donated to McGill. You are in the pile with everyone else. All accredited universities in Canada have the same standards. A degree from the University of Saskatchewan and one from Queens University (also held in high regard as McGill) hold the same influence.
