It dosnt matter what detergent you use on cottons because thats why the cottons cycle dosnt poor loads of water in and for the wash because cotton garments are designed to get a beating in the drum of the machine so using powder or liquid detergent dosnt matter on cotton garments the best detergent i used for stains is persil bio double concetrate liquid which it ranges from £3.50 to £8 depending on the size bottle you dnt need any vanish or other stain removers you just pretreat with the detergent stick it on a normal wash cycle and the stain has gone which i have tested it on a variety of stains and has got rid of all the stains which you dnt use loads od the liquid you literalky need 20ml for a normal size load and the stains will come out dont use what the packet says because i can make 40 washes from detergent last twice as long so i can get double what the packet says also another good detergent is persil 3 in 1 capusles with plant based stain remover they are brilliant for stains aswell and powder brushes the surfaces liquid actually digs into the fibres thats why liquid is better than powder which people are wrong washing at 20 degress because all that bacteria from your underwear is going into the machine and washing at cold temperatures its going to spread more bacteria on your surfaces and cause all types of illness and infections so dnt wash at cold also bio detergents come with enzymes which only work in warm to hot water not in cold water but yes dnt use to much detergent and also handy tip you need to wash the draw where you put the detergent and fabric softner 👍😊🙂
@how2not22 no problem which another tip is to extra rinse your clothes because that will help get excess dirt out of your clothes which rinse it until the water goes clear which the persil bio liquid you wnt need varnish or anything you just prefer treat the stain best idea is to pre treat the stain on both sides of the stain lather it up leave for a few minutes then wash on a normal 40 degree wash and it will come out I have used it on oild based stains like curry sauce etc and it's come out with no oil patch from the sauce afterwards it's completely come out another goof tip is every so often run the washing machine empty on a 90 degree wash with clear white vinegar which that will kill bacteria remove limescale and flush all the pipes through which to get rid of the smell of vinegar is use a small amount of fabric conditioner on the last rinse to take the smell away also every so often use a water softener tablet in with your wash every so often which will soften the water which hard water won't get rid of stains aswell as softened water but if you need more tips leave a comment and I will help as best as I can 😊
@how2not22 also another tip that I have seen people doing with jeans espicially if you wear them never wash them the normal way because what you are actually doing is messing the dye at the front of the jeans while washing them the normal way which then over time you get horrible grey patches on the front of your jeans the best idea is always wash jeans inside out because so many people make that mistake which it isn't a good idea to and as I said dnt use vanish it doesn't work best stuff to use is persil bio liquid concentrated all you do is pre treat the stain with the liquid leave it for a few minutes then wash it normally and it will come out vanish dosnt work
Magyar vagyok , köszönöm, hasznos volt, Nem táncolt el a gép, meg se mozdult? Nálam pult alatt lesz és oldalt fél centi mozgása lehet. I'm Hungarian, thank you, it was useful. Didn't the machine dance or move? It will be under my counter and it can move half a centimeter sideways.
The longer cycles are more economical, because it doesn't heat the water up as much but throws the clothes around the machine for longer in cooler water which does save energy, ps it's a great washing machine, you won't be disappointed
@@how2not22 mine doesn’t rinse well I have to use a single teaspoon of tide he and still have to do 5 rinses ,the water doesn’t run clear when it gurgles up the kitchen sink plug hole
You could always try reading the flipping instructions. Or would that be too easy for a total muppet that overloads the powder dispenser? Honestly!! As for noise. I dont think yours is perfectly level as it’s much noisier than mine and it’s the same model.
Not true, this is because the detergents are different between cottons and synthetics. Cottons need powder alkaline detergent, synthetics need liquid "neutral" detergent. Liquids have more surfactant, powders have more alkalinity. If you wash synthetics with powder detergent, you will indeed destroy them.
Usually powder detergent will cause the clothes to harden after drying, especially if you don't use softener/conditioning. So I suggest liquid, cuz there isn't much difference in the cleaning performance. Sometimes cheap powders may also leave a white residue as streaks, liquids don't.
Always liquid for synthetics, powder for cottons. In order to remove iron stains, you need some sort of rust remover. That is why normal detergents cannot remove them. You need to apply rust remover to the stain. Dosages are different as well. Liquid detergents are for 2.5kg load of laundry per dose. Heavy duty powder detergents like Persil Universal that comes with the bleach activator TAED are for 4.5kg per dose. Heavy duty detergents help condition your hard water since it contains salt and helps the rinse cycle by breaking down into vinegar, so they do more than detergency.
The washing machine weighs the capacity of the load. This is why it does this at the beginning of the program and when it’s washing .
Weighing the clothes when the timer goes werid like that that is nothing to worry about
I think you put way too much detergent in the tray...
Noted, it's a hard habit to break!
I'd say Samsung>LG. Detergent mixing is great not to leave residue. I read foam is hydrophobic, so might penetrate stains better.
2:02 this is the load sensing which detects the weight. It will either decrease, increase or stay the same.
the roatating timer is shown when the washing machine is sensing the load. completely normal for most cycles.
very smart
thank you

The spinning icon means it’s weighing the load
2:03 this phase on the display means load sensing
Which means it will calculate the weight
I was thinking of getting this machine but seeing how long the cycles are when you are trying to cut energy bills it seems counter productive.
The longer cycles are more economical, because it doesn't heat the water up as much but throws the clothes around the machine for longer in cooler water which does save energy, ps it's a great washing machine, you won't be disappointed
Yes the temperature 40-60 is normal when the two lights are on
PLEASE answer: Can you DECREASE the temperature on the cotton cycle? Ideally 20 degrees or even zero. Please answer, thank you.
Good point, I'm not sure but will let you know soon.
Yes you can
I noticed it didn’t rinse well there was soap suds left after the rinse cycle, does this happen often? I need a machine that rinses well
Yes it usually rinses well, samsung has 5 levels of rinses. I usually do 2 but probably should have selected 3 rinses.
@@how2not22 mine doesn’t rinse well I have to use a single teaspoon of tide he and still have to do 5 rinses ,the water doesn’t run clear when it gurgles up the kitchen sink plug hole
that would be because she used like 4x the amount of powder you should be
@@jerrysberrys3415 Do you need to use less detergent with a high efficient machine like this?
4:15, sensed 2 (full load) + time up.
The rotating lines on display are the showing the machine is calculating the load size etc..

How much washing powder do you go through a month? 1:31
It even added a rinse plus, before they was 2 after time increasing 3 i guess depends on weight of the clothes
It's Just Sensing There's Nothing to be Worry About
My mum would 😅
If the paint on your clothes isn't water soluble you will need something like white spirit to get it off .......
Very helpful thankyou
You're welcome!
I've got a samsung 9kg Eco bubble washer and it weighs the laundry only on the Cotton And cotton Eco will it sense the load
thank you so much for the video
You are welcome!
Just to give a bit of advice…you are using waaaaaay too much powder…l
Right 🙈 I add a scoop, not a full drawer 😮
That lunch though...😋
If full load then 3hrs 19mins
If half load then 1hr 27mins
True
When it's small load 1h 12minites
You will destroy your clothes if you wash synthetic clothes at cotton cycle, I do see silky and polyester clothes a lot in there.
And when u turn on the washing machine it will default to eco 40-60
I was going to leave a comment but.... *3 seconds.
put some more powder in why dont you, wtf
2:14, sensed 1 (full load).
Anybody else find that this machine knocks like crazy on the spin cycle??
Too much detergent....
1400 rpm 😱😱😱
You like it?
It actually went up to 3 hours
The only thing it’s doing that is you pressed daily wash
