Tbh the verticality in this map is done so much better than interchange. In interchange it always feels like the verticality serves only to kill you, on this map honestly it feels like you have actual choice. You simply don’t have to risk engaging with someone who’s tucked away somewhere 20 feet above you just to get from point a to b. And it doesn’t feel like there’s a small amount of locations where there’s good loot designed to cram player in, I’ve had quite a few raids where I’ve made it out where hundreds of thousands of rubels and didn’t even have to leave the ground floor.
I at once thought the first iteration would be bigger and smaller than this, its hard to explain but theyve done a real great job with this. Fantastic map so far cant wait to see which direction it will be expanded

I've died a couple times now from not being able to actually fight cause I"m just glued to a wall from rubberbanding back into place. Rip.
I’d honestly love to see a map in this game very similar to Factory, completely indoors, lots of long hallways, rooms and such, I like interior fights in this game, maybe like a bombed out hospital or something would be interesting.
im fairly new to the game, only about a month in and 100 or so raids on factory (mostly me dying in 60 seconds lol) trying to get a handle on PVP. I love this map but its so massive your videos help alot.
Pestily, if you can for future tours, use a compass please. For anyone inexperienced, like myself, Pestily's starting orientation is to the East based on how the map he shows is oriented and assuming the Primosky Taxi is the southern most extract. Idk if that's how the in-game world is oriented since, from my understanding, some maps are flipped. I could be wrong and I'm open to being corrected on both the maps and Pestily's orientation.
Its kind of something you just learn or do what most ppl do and ignore the existence of the compass all together . And i agree that its annoying. But a lot of the time the way the maps are orientated are the best way to think about them in your head. And if you are doing call outs and you know the orientation is off for the compass, you can do up, right, down, and left and most ppl will understand what you mean.
@@hibyedie321 "it's kind of something you learn" ...yes. which is what a compass is for. why risk dumbing it down with the added risk of confusing someone who does use cardinal directions? If you say north-west, everyone will know you mean to face towards the 10:30-ish direction as opposed to looking up and to the left, risking getting someone killed. it's taught as early as elementary. I have never heard anyone in-game using up, down, left, right as cardinal directions without getting laughed at afterwards. no one should have to dumb down information like that.

Especially im a game like this and Arma where I could call out "hes on the left side of the red bus to my right side of the road" and people wouldn't think to look in the direction my character is looking. But if I say "he's South East on the left side of the red bus" then its on them to push a single button look for SE and a red bus.. its not like EVERY MAJOR military takes weeks to teach this through their BASIC training..
Its spawned me on top of that lexus dealership, theres a mounted gun up there too, i couldnt get down or out the window, i had to jump and break a leg to get out, as a scav this was.
Try changing the mode from fullscreen to borderless in your settings, its still fullscreen but i have an extra 40 fps and it actually makes it playable for me
I hope BSG gives us a "Purple Robe" for body armor level 2 that mimcs you Pestily. I would rock that with an FN, Pestily mask and the purple robe. Broken Factory Combo.
@@revenxyo4241 you have poorly optimized your settings if you’re only getting 20fps… I have an old intel i5 cpu and I’m getting anywhere between 45-65 fps on streets every raid. Not great but much better than 20fps
Good walkthrough Pestily. Havent had the chance to play the map myself, but it looks great. I wish you took off the headset in-game as it was hard to hear sometimes.
I look forward to getting more aquainted with Streets when more optimizations and culling techniques are in place. RTX 2060-4090, same performance. I did 1 run and could barely fight back. Frame count says 60-70 on my laptop. I may as well go do on-foot conflict zones in Elite Dangerous it's comparibly that bad.

@@makemeajmod i remember their Podcast. The bmp was supposed to be a Taxi badicly. You could pay them to drive from 1 location to another. Also you can destroy it.
I died tragically to a sniper on kimlov street when I accidentally went a block up from the sewer (my extract) and catacombs extracts. I died with some new marked key with a single use on it. In hindsight now I very much regret not putting it up my butt

@@chevy6987 Not sure, just know they announced they wouldn't be editing for Pestily anymore. This is hunch and definitely not confirmed but I reckon Pest went all out on Content Production in 2022 and has had to scale things back for next year.
I swear Voip is so good for tasking. Good way to show ur cooperative when u say hi to ur mic. U go to Factory, u see a geared guy running to ur place and u say to him that go a head, im not gonna peek u. Then u proceed planting ur item. Mission completed.
Which servers? I feel like EU is constantly a war zone. Never heard anyone on voip.. Well, I've heard once "fuck your task. Fuck your task" - he died trying to prevent me from completing task on factory.
despite the fact that you get (it was proved) less FPS in offline with AI, Streets is the only map where offline is less demanding than online.. i was getting 65fps on an I3 7100 and GTX1050 (WITH SCAV WAR ON) but in online i get at most 5fps if im lucky... (binaural audio off) .. there are definetly issues with Online streets and hopefully they will be fixed
@N0B0DY EP1C I can run every other map close to 60fps, I could run streets with medium amount of scavs and scav war with 60+ fps stable, but for some reason online streets has massive performance hit... Streets is the first map that has worse performance online rather than offline

Really nice to see and have as a reference. Why didn’t you use any compass directions?! Updating the viewer on the direction you’re facing, the direction the road goes, and the “west border” for example is key to letting someone know how to use this info and orient themselves if they didn’t take the same path you did. Idk why I’m trying to address Pest, not like he’s gone ever read feedback lol.
This map is going to take months to truly know how to navigate it, i normally learn the maps pretty quick but for streets im on my 20th raid and still need to ise the map sometimes, to bad its optimized like doodoo
I think you are wrong about flare exit. I believe that exit is in the corner of the map, between sewer river and underpass. Cause when you approach that sniper zone in the corner of the map, it says in the bottom of the screen something like “flare check zone”.
The park and cinema in the beginning is pretty much a full copy of Pushkinskaya ploschad in Moscow, so many details!

This map has a crazy amount of vertical gameplay to it which I love, the suspension between two people in different floors feels thrilling for me!
The only reason I feel any sort of suspension is because I know I can’t hear people right below me

Spawned on top of the big smoke stacks in Customs in the past, as a scav. Was a sniper scav. Think it's a rare spawn to get something like that.

That's strange indeed, because your rig is a bit weak for Tarkov. So it should have the same problems in offline mode.
Your computer is well under minimum requirements. Streets wont run on ur machine online no matter what they do.
