My wife and I have a 2016 Limited and we love it . We go off road mainly in the Bradshaw Mountains, our Jeep does fine on moderate trails which at 72 we aren’t interested in rock climbing adventures . A great everyday driver
I just bought a 4x4 Renegade Trail hawk, been trying to find different trails to take it on and a group to go out with. This video is awesome, love to see what this vehicle can do!
Very nice video finally some people that know how to drive the jeep renegades the people that talk them down do not own one and are talking crap. I now have a 2019 Trailhawk and love it they are a great jeep.
Here in Brazil I have my second Renegade Trailhawk. Now an blue 2020 model. On My first Silver Trailhawk We Did so many trails on nationals parks here in Brazil like Canastra National Park and Veadeiro’s Park. We’re so happy all trails that we can do with this car.
One of the best trail rides I've seen on YT. A challenge but not enough to tear up your equipment. Unfortunately there is no place in Indiana to offroad like that.
guys i love it i just bought my first jeep ever i bought a 2017 sport renagade and i love it but people make fun of it some time because its small and i tell them it no smaller than the old army jeeps and they kicked ass thanks. real cool
True that! Loved the video aswell :) Only thing which the renegade lacks is a 4x4 on the lower end models here in Europe..too bad, then again, I'm still very pleased with my sport 2x4 . Just hoping Jeep will mature this model over time and gives me an opportunity to own a ren 4x4 in a few years :)
I really like the Renegades! Already have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 10th Anniversary. Would be cool to have a Renegade as a daily driver/light off roader in addition to the Wrangler. Would be awesome to have a Trailhawk version in silver to match!
Very nice video. My wife bought a preowned 2017 Renegade Trailhawk. She wanted a small cuv with a higher ride height so she could see traffic ahead. Looking forward to go off road if she lets me use it. LOL. So far we’ve only taken it traffic and mall crawling. Oh I was able to use rock mode once when I had to drive on a gravel road with some rocks. It was fun. Looking forward to lifting it too because the speed bumps at her work parking garage are ridiculously high. But I really do love her Renegade though. It’s the only red Trailhawk, let alone, Renegade in our town. I’m just jealous. My Pilot doesn’t look as cool as the Renegade.
keeps up with rubicon on rock crawl. That is the trailhawk/deserthawk will. others have 4x4 but you need a traihawk with 4x4 lock to do heavy duty rock crawl. I have the Deserthawk, it will go everywhere. I don't miss my wrangler. Turn up the beats sound system take off both roof panels and roll.
Looks like a great time I recently picked up a set of BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 LT225/75R16 from walmart and love them and have no rubbing even when the wheel is hard over. I am looking at a 1 1/2 or 2 inch lift any suggestions? I am also looking for a set of moderate fender flares. I am a full time REALTOR in Florida so I cant get to crazy and I need it to look professional.
I can't wait to get another Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I had to give up mine about 2 years ago because I am part of a big family and I bought a Ford Flex, but I've missed my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk and I'm wanting to trade my Ford Flex into another Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I am tired of paying the high prices on gas with the Ford Flex and I want my rugged Jeep Renegade Trailhawk again. I will be buying one soon.
Better get a pre 2019 model. They neutered the newer engines by making them much smaller and slapping a "turbo" label on them, claiming "more power"......what a joke. They always ruin every good thing over time.
Love this video. It's what being a Jeep owner is all about no matter what Jeep you drive. Get out there and explore. I love watching Renegades "think" their way through the tough spots. You can see the wheels figuring it out on its own. I went from a Patriot to an 01 Cherokee for longer term off-road customization but I want to get a Renegade as a daily/fun vehicle. How did the tires on the Latitude and Sport hold up?
How would the renegade sport jeepster edition handle something like this? I have 235/45r19 bsw all season 19in x 7.5 tires and I think 8 inch ground clearance Thanks. Should I look into after market skid plates?
I have a renegade 2019 sport 4x4 lifted. Could I do this trail with it? Never pwned a jewp before but I love my baby and would like to see what it can do...
There have been a few sport models complete the trail. Some did damage their stock tires. I would definitely consider adding skid plates before hitting a trail like this one.
Thanks for posting. I have a 2017 Desert Hawk and love it, a very capable vehicle. Jeep lists the fording depth as 19", has anyone challenged that in a deeper crossing?
The Yokohama geolanders are what many people use. Including myself. They took me through stuff that I shouldn't have tried and always shocked the "real jeep" guys.
I’m close to oakridge Tennessee!! But How did the sport handle on the trail? I’ve got a 2017 sport with 1.5 teraflex lift with 235/70r16 falken Wildpeaks but yet to take it off road yet.
It was his first time on this trail so I had him follow my line. Only had to reposition a few times on some of the rocks and had no issues on the harder creek crossing. His was completely stock.
That’s good to hear! And I’ll look into getting Some skid plates(rear diff, front motor, carrier bearring) so hopefully I don’t have to worry about scraping damaging stuff..
Great video, thanks for posting. Did the Latitude have the 1.4 or the 2.4? Going to be getting one in the next couple weeks and want to be able to do trails like this, and want to make sure I get the right one for the job!
scott carey all of our group have the 2.4. On this trail the non trailhawks did fine. Just have to be more careful when you don't have skid plates and recovery points.
Do you notice a difference between the Trailhawk and Non TH models capability? I understand the biggest difference is the TH final drive is 4.3 whereas non TH models have a 3.7. I wonder if it is very noticeable as I recently purchased an Upland and am looking to bring it into the woods! Awesome video!
On the rides we have been on the non trailhawks have had no issues keeping up with the the trailhawks. They would sometimes have to choose a slightly different line due to the lack of skid plates and the front bumper clearance.
Yep, it is a great little Jeep for hitting mild mountain trails. It will definitely get you to some great places as long as you respect its limitations. Our area is blessed with some awesome mountain views and hidden waterfalls that are reachable on trails like this.
On the automatics, what transmission temps were you guys seeing? this is the first vehicle I have ever owned with a transmission temp gauge and im always looking at it paranoid! LOL
It was a cooler day. I don't remember any one mentioning their tranny temp's rising. I instructed all trailhawks to use rock mode and non trailhawks to use mud mode and manually keep it in first gear on this trail. Since shifting builds heat this helps in keeping temp's low.
I'm sure it would be fine. We have had stock sports make it up this trail. Worse part of this trail is the rocky sections. Last trip two of us damaged tires on the way down. It started raining and made the rocks very slick.
tyler leaman we have members in middle TN. We use Facebook to plan rides. Occasionally they arrange rides too. Look for us on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/tnbuowners/
The latitudes that have rode with us have had no issues. The only big concerns for latitudes on rides like this are a lack of skid plates and tow points.
My wife and I have a 2016 Limited and we love it . We go off road mainly in the Bradshaw Mountains, our Jeep does fine on moderate trails which at 72 we aren’t interested in rock climbing adventures . A great everyday driver
What a beautiful area! Such a cool place to go for a little fun with friends and family off roading is a super fun thing to do!
I just bought a 4x4 Renegade Trail hawk, been trying to find different trails to take it on and a group to go out with. This video is awesome, love to see what this vehicle can do!
Awesome to see “other” Jeeps having fun!
Just bought me a 2018 sport, hoping I can hit some trails like this soon
I have a Renegade Limited..love it! Heading to TN...MISS IT!😀🙏✌
Very nice video finally some people that know how to drive the jeep renegades the people that talk them down do not own one and are talking crap. I now have a 2019 Trailhawk and love it they are a great jeep.
Just bought a Latitude!! I don't off-road but I can see beaches in my Future!!
Well Damn! I just moved from Sullivan County TN to Savannah, GA and I’m about to get myself a Renegade! This makes me wish I was back home 😭😭
Nice to know the base model 4x4 can make it through. Usually what most consumers would buy.
Some of those aint even trail hawks.love it
Our Jeeps are trail-rated for a reason! Awesome job 👏🏼
I like all the mods you have done on snoopy.
Great collection of under rated jeeps
One of the best trail rides I've seen on YT. A challenge but not enough to tear up your equipment. Unfortunately there is no place in Indiana to offroad like that.
Once you get some Tennessee mud in your veins you'll never leave
guys i love it i just bought my first jeep ever i bought a 2017 sport renagade and i love it but people make fun of it some time because its small and i tell them it no smaller than the old army jeeps and they kicked ass thanks. real cool
So much for the idea that these aren't "real Jeeps.". I've got an Upland edition, would love to try it on a course like this. The video is excellent
Thanks. They have their limitations but can still get you to some pretty cool locations.
I just took an Upland home 2 days ago. Have you taken yours onto trails yet? I'm curious to hear how it did!
True that! Loved the video aswell :)
Only thing which the renegade lacks is a 4x4 on the lower end models here in Europe..too bad, then again, I'm still very pleased with my sport 2x4 .

Best camera ever! Thanks for the video!
Awesome trail, really nice job on the video.
Thanks!
Love the video. Seems like the Renegade Trailhawk is very capable off road. I want to buy one soon for sure!
Great video!✌

No wonder I can't find a used Trailhawk in my area. Everyone's "wife" is buying them all up!!!
Nice to see you can have same fun with all Renegades. Most guys means you can do this only with the Trailhawk.
Great video! i have a 2016 Renegade Trailhawk 2.0 Multijet
Beautiful video! 👍🏻

This is awesome, given some of those aren't even Trailhawks!
The limited has 4x4 option I think upland too. But there's more to consider if stock than just have 4x4 capabilities. All of them are awesome.
Hoping to check this trail off the list this fall...
I enjoyed that ,looks like you are all having fun, good job
The "mustang" that can go ANYWHERE!!! BEST CAR EVER
Love this video!

That was good. I have a 2017 Renegade trailhawk that I am going to lift then take it on Colorado trails. Enjoyed this video!!
eli ortega Thanks. They are impressive little Jeep's.
They're ALL good, all Jeeps, especially the newer ones. They're amazing.
How would the renegade sport jeepster edition handle something like this? I have 235/45r19 bsw all season 19in x 7.5 tires and I think 8 inch ground clearance
Thanks. Should I look into after market skid plates?
I planning to get the limited model with 4WD , will it be capable to go off road like those , stock??? I really love this jeep beyond mesure❤❤❤❤🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
metalaras999 it can! My Renegade is the Jurassic park one and it’s modified, but we had a base model 4X4 Renegade that made it!
i have a jeep renegade sport 4x4. capable offroad with better tires?
I have a renegade 2019 sport 4x4 lifted. Could I do this trail with it? Never pwned a jewp before but I love my baby and would like to see what it can do...
There have been a few sport models complete the trail. Some did damage their stock tires. I would definitely consider adding skid plates before hitting a trail like this one.
I have a 4 in lift on my sport it will take me places I don’t even need to go
I have a 2015 Cherokee latitude with the 3.2L and active drive 1. Wanting to take it to the outer banks in NC and do some beach cruising.
Hey how did the none trail rated Jeep Renegade do?
Thanks for posting. I have a 2017 Desert Hawk and love it, a very capable vehicle. Jeep lists the fording depth as 19", has anyone challenged that in a deeper crossing?
can anyone advice me of any all terrain tires that will fit the sport model
The Yokohama geolanders are what many people use. Including myself. They took me through stuff that I shouldn't have tried and always shocked the "real jeep" guys.
Can my 2017 Latitude FWD make the cut without mods?
I don't think so stay to dirt roads but clubs and FB renegade group can answer. You don't have the clearance I don't think either.
Anyone know of renegade 4x4 clubs in CA? I had a rubicon and know the clubs are focused on Wrangler. Makes me want to move to TN.
Try a search on Facebook groups. I know there are some renegade clubs out west. May find them there.
I’m close to oakridge Tennessee!! But How did the sport handle on the trail? I’ve got a 2017 sport with 1.5 teraflex lift with 235/70r16 falken Wildpeaks but yet to take it off road yet.

scott carey all of our group have the 2.4. On this trail the non trailhawks did fine. Just have to be more careful when you don't have skid plates and recovery points.
Smooth Criminal Got it! Do you think the 1.4 would be capable of a trail like that? Or just better off getting a 2.4?
scott carey I'm sure they could. There are quite a few of the turbo 1.4s that off road in some of the Facebook renegade groups.
Smooth Criminal awesome, thanks for the info
So the regular non trailhawk renegades did fine
Do you notice a difference between the Trailhawk and Non TH models capability? I understand the biggest difference is the TH final drive is 4.3 whereas non TH models have a 3.7. We have a trailhawk stock and a sport with atp 4in lift the trailhawk can’t even compete with the sport
Jeep Renegade waiting.... from india
The Jeep Renegade trailhawk is very capable off-road it just doesn't have a lot of ground clear.
Yep, it is a great little Jeep for hitting mild mountain trails. It will definitely get you to some great places as long as you respect its limitations. Our area is blessed with some awesome mountain views and hidden waterfalls that are reachable on trails like this.
It has more ground clearance than a stock Wrangler. The Wrangler has 8.2 inches, the Trailhawk Renegade has 8.7 inches of ground clearance. BOOM
@@592subdriver also the renegade trailhawk can cross water 19" deep
On the automatics, what transmission temps were you guys seeing? this is the first vehicle I have ever owned with a transmission temp gauge and im always looking at it paranoid! LOL

Would a Fiat Panda be able to do that
I have a liberty trail rated jeep we should do a ride.those are both small jeeps.windrock tn
My dad has a 2015 jeep Rubicon I love it. But they are so expensive. But I am happy with my renegade
Great trails
I was wondering if my renegade altitude could handle this kind of stuff. I have the all terrain yokohama geolander a/t go15 tires on my jeep
I'm sure it would be fine. We have had stock sports make it up this trail. Worse part of this trail is the rocky sections. Last trip two of us damaged tires on the way down. It started raining and made the rocks very slick.
Hi ! Would it be possible to finished presented road in use Renegade with FWD ? (not 4x4) ?
Adrian Kowalczyk I would not attempt this trail in 2wd due to the second water crossing and multiple tight switch backs.
do you guys ever make your way out towards Nashville?
tyler leaman we have members in middle TN. We use Facebook to plan rides. Occasionally they arrange rides too. Look for us on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/tnbuowners/
How capable is the Latitude in comparison to the trailhawk? Looking to get the Latitude to do some mild off road and for winter snow
The latitudes that have rode with us have had no issues. The only big concerns for latitudes on rides like this are a lack of skid plates and tow points.
You could always spend the extra money to get skid plates from what I understand
@@Tc-ev9dd True. Now there are a few companies making skid plates and bumpers with recovery points built in.
Are your jeeps lifted or stock? Awesome vid. So jelly :(
In this video the white Jurassic Park Trailhawk is lifted. All but the sport have A/T tires.
these things only have 8 inch ground clearance wich isnt too good
Trailhawk has 8.7.
I would love to do this in my trailhawk
NICE
Way too much music no Narrating
WHERE EXACTLY IS THIS PLACE LOCATED AT?
