Had mine (same colors) for some months now. Im very happy with the car. Ive had all the updates and ICCU upgrade and had NO issues yet. I think I'm going with the GT next if I tire of it.
After seeing somebody else's EV get towed with some difficulties in locating a recovery point, I looked it up for the EV6. That unknown thing in the tire mobility kit is a recovery point that screws into a slot behind a circular access door (looks like a sensor) on the passenger side of the front bumper. Not exactly obvious lol.
funny u mention that, this is not exactly the same but. i drive a old mercedes and it got super stuck, chains did not help, a Kia EV6 Just pulled me out like there was no weight to pull. EV6 is insane
So 2023 models doesn't have touch buttons in the center console (heated/vented seats) but physical? That would be awesome because it was quite annoying to change anything on the radio/HVAC without touching those.
Oddly enough it does not seem like this is on every market for the EV6 i just checked 2023 models in norway, and all of t hem still have haptic buttons. so thats a bit odd.
Nice review. EVs are still too expensive for a working class, as I am not sure how working-class people can afford a $50-60K vehicle while owning a house and with 2 kids. I am not sure if I want to pay for this nice EV unless I am making $200K annually.
Thanks and I agree. too expensive for a regular person to get in at this point. EV manufacturers argue that you make that money back somewhat from the Gas and maintenance savings. There is definitely some truth to that, but people don't see those savings immediately which is what puts off most people. The EVs are also a "premium" or a "status" product these days so you will always pay extra for that.
@@automaticYT Hope your channel will take off as I think you are doing great so far. By the way, I noticed one review you did in Kings Mason which is right in my backyard. Thanks for your response.
I understand your concern, however if you look at the cost of maintaining a car using gas, compared to an EV you save money over time. No maintenance cost gas, oil change. You can charge the from the comfort of your home and the port to charge the car is less than $200...It really is cost efficient
Why are kids always the plight? Don’t have children if you want to afford other things in life. You choose to have children, and you consequently choose to spend your income on supporting your children. It was your choice. I don’t sympathize.

I brought this car two weeks ago....and I absolutely love it
Wow. Congrats. Your first EV?
Just bought one yesterday!! Love it so far.
that metal rod in the trunk is used to screw in the front so someone can tow you when you run out of charge

Doesn't come with a charging cable that's extra
Yes, it looks like Darth Vader!

Yeah they are physical buttons. I like them that way too. I hate that everything is going in a screen or capacitive buttons these days.

Car has everything but a Panoramic roof🤔
