What I don’t understand is it looks like it has imperfections all over it, all kinds of mis-angled straw bits with lots of inconsistent gaps… is that intentional? Liner looks gorgeous as does the sweatband and buckle, but the hat itself looks really average from here at least. Surprised it doesn’t just scream perfect with all the other rad details
Nice hat. But why the beaver on the sweat band; is that beaver straw? Maybe it’s beaver approved straw? Jokes aside; that’s nice, but I think it’ll be hot with a lining.
I just feel like it’s going to be so hot wearing these in the summer since it is a straw but that satin in the inside is throwing me off might be not be a summer hat

Extremely over priced. The weave is irregular. Satin lining in a straw is counterproductive. Beware of any company trying to up sell you with the supposed value added buckles bands whatever. X’s Are improperly used in this instance. It’s not Beaver which is how most cowboy hat owners think in terms of quality when companies use Xs as a way to communicate quality level and customers can gauge the value as they perceive it. 5000 straw is meaningless

Very true, I believe it’s more a show hat then a work hat but I use all my hats, this one gets used when I go riding or when I’m mowing the lawn..

Very true but for an extra $50 why not go from 1000x to 5000x
