I am classically trained and my husband loves heavy metal so finding music we both love can be tricky. But David Phelps is both our favorite. 🙌🏼 He never ceases to amaze. His range is insane. His “Oh love that will not let me go” is one of my all time favs!!

I love this beautiful song so much. David never ceases to amaze me with his range and the compassion with which he sings. He dedicated this song to Lori, his wife, on mother's day during a livestream event . He melted my heart then and everytime he sings this song. He is by far the best I have ever heard. I honestly think he has the best voice on the planet. He’s one of a kind. I don’t think there’s ever been anyone like him or ever will again. How to you better perfection? He blows me away. I heard him for the first time when he first joined the Gaither Vocal Band at my first ‘live’ Gaither Homecoming. He came out and sang a duet with Candy Christmas (yes, her real name) and the two friends I was with, we all looked at each other with the same look on our faces and mouthed “who is THAT?????” I was hooked and have been since. I want to say it was in the late 90’s?? I’m not sure but I have certainly followed him since.

His voice is from heaven, but David has a real rarity in today's world. He loves the Lord, and is also a great family man. He could have been on any stage He wanted, anywhere he wanted.
He chose to be a minister of gospel and by singing with the family in his barn, He has presented to us great sermon in music and greater sermon by living what he preaches.
