Love both of these covers, but to be fair, I love all of their covers. Their covers are actually what made me really start diving into their full discography. Siyeon's Speechless cover, Yoohyeon's cover of Secret Love Song, and Sua's cover of Copycat blew me away, mainly because I didn't care for the originals at all. If I were to give one cover for each member and for the group as a whole, it would be these. Jiu - Event Horizon Sua - Copycat Siyeon - Betelgeuse (this one has supplanted Speechless as my favorite cover for her) Handong - Night into Days by Taeyeon Yoohyeon - Secret Love Song (emotional) Dami - Dessert on Mushroom Live Gahyeon - Blue Night on Jeju Island OT7 - Regret of the Times I'm going to include one for Yaja time as well. Yaja time is a sub-unit with the members Sua, Siyeon, & Yoohyeon, but they have different names and positions. I'm including them because they just announced a comeback, lol. Yoohyeon - Yaja Time Leader (Tape) Siyeon - Yaja Time Rapper (Nival) Sua - Yaja Time Maknae (Bong) Song - Oh My!

I'd like to add a warning to have tissues for Secret Love Song along with SuA's cover of Standing Next To You (original Jung Kook, smoldering heat ⚠️ warning) and JiU + SuA cover of Switch to Me (original JYP and Rain, a side of JiU never seen anywhere else in 10 years as an idol).
Oh, if no one has mentioned it Yoohyeon + Dami = 2yoo because Dami's person name is Yoobin. Yoohyeon + Yoobin makes more sense as 2yoo. Being same age friends they're a little closer than to other members and ended up doing SO MANY covers together.

Handong's lower range is so soothing but underused most of the time in group songs. She's always on the brink of replacing Yoohyeon as my favorite voice to hear, but Yoohyeon stays so active. I love how true 2yoo stay to the Day6 rock sound but unleash those harmonies at the end to put their stamp on the cover. One of Minx Dami's traumas was being forced to perform in a higher tone than is natural for her to meet the expectations of cute girl groups. Every one of us are glad those days are over. Both of these videos were recorded when they were already on tour in Paris and Hong Kong, 2yoo were kind of spontaneous because they were too wired to sleep after the HK concert so why not go record a mv at the waterfront? I'm not sure one can find a group that has won music shows and yearly awards that still works as hard as Dreamcatcher pushing out relentless content.
The lower ranges are so beautiful 😭 I'm really glad they're able to showcase their beautiful voices without having to hit those "typical" pop high notes. I'm really glad they also added their own touch to these covers. Looking forward to hearing more 🥰
Yoohyeon and Dami are the same age, born in 1997. I recommend JiU and Yoohyeon’s monster cover.

Her name is actually 유빈. The way those sounds are romanized for English readers is up for grabs. Going with yoo instead of yu explains 2yoo better.
