Never seen anyone whip their rod tip downward on a bucktail before.. pretty intriguing technique. What the purpose in that? To bring the bucktail back down faster?

Hey nice vid. I like to fish the inlet a lot but have never caught a striper there. I’m also too scared to use bucktails as I lost quite a lot from getting snagged there. Do u have any tips?

It takes some time to learn fishing striper at inlet, you have to adjust your bucktails by weight by tide how fast the tide.
